it was another normal day for shinso. go to class 1-a, have a class with dad, have english with his other dad, maths then two more lessons with his dad. except, he couldnt focus. at all. all day. and, of course, his dad picked up on it and pulled him aside after school.

"Hitoshi. whats going on? normally youre 100% focussed in class." his ever-tired, insomniac homeroom teacher (and dad) asked him, worry plastered all over his face.
"nothing, dad. dont worry about it. im fine. can i please just go back to my dorm today instead of training? im not feeling 100%."
"of course, Hitoshi. make sure to get some rest." shinso just nods and walks away towards the dorm building.

he walks up to the roof and sits at the edge.
"wonder what Denki would say if he caught you up here." he waits a few moments
"probably wouldnt say anything, actually, would probably just join me."

a shiver runs through Hitoshi's body, causing him to get up and walk back to the door. hes never been a fan of the cold.

he walks down and into his dorm, flops onto his bed and pulls out his phone, smiling at his lockscreen. its a picture of his cat at home, Flurry. he wanted to bring her to the dorms, but aizawa said there was a hard ban on pets. shinso unlocks his phone and smiles more. his home screen is a picture of him and Denki on their first date. (at the top)

speaking of Denki, Hitoshi opens his iMessages app and starts typing.

me: hey babe, can you come cuddle..? please..?

only after he sent it did he realise it was the groupchat. and you unsend messages on the iMessages app.

ashido: le gasp!!!!! THE hitoshi shinso?????? asking for cuddles?!!! THIS DAY IS SACRED
kirishima: shinbro are you feeling alright??
01477 664 898: hey shinso, whos babe, none of the girls said anything about being in a relationship 😏😏😏😏 (this is mineta, shinso doesn't have his number saved)
yaoyorozu: everybody, please leave him alone, its clear he intended to send this in a private message.

shinso groans, burying his face in his pillow at all the buzzing coming from his phone. he decides to open the messages one last time before throwing his phone across the room.

pika💛: IS?????? IS THIS A HEART ATTACK????????? HITOSHI SHINSO-  M Y  HITOSHI SHINSO?????? ASKING   M E    FOR ATTENTION??????? WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY BOYFRIEND?!!!!!

shinso smiles, then tears up slightly at the next message that pops up.

me: shut up, nobody asked your stupid opinion
01477 664 898: you did when you sent that message to the groupchat
me: no, yaoyorozu was right, it was intended for a private message. i made a mistake.
01477 664 898: your mother made a mistake when she didnt abort you
pika💛: aight where the fuck is iida when you need him?! you dont just say shit like that mineta!!
iida: what do you need, Kaminari?
pika💛: I NEED MINETA KICKED FROM THIS FUCKING CHAT, OBVIOUSLY?!!!!!
pika💛: oh yeah, Hitoshi, im at your door

me: its unlocked, you can cone in.

kaminari walks into shinso's room, and shinso stands up.
"oh baby.." Kaminari wraps his arms around shinso, holding him tightly.
"hey, Denki?"
"yeah, Hitoshi?"
"i love you. i dont care what anyone else thinks, for once. i just love you."
"i love you too, Hitoshi."
