Sports Festival (iidabaku)

(you know who you are. yes you. im writing this to satisfy your unquenchable thirst for this ship <3)
(yes im aware tokoyami and iida drew 3rd, we just ignore that)

(fair warning, i do not have PTSD or anything, this is how i imagine hed feel because of that incident)

3rd person POV

Its the sports festival. the obstacle course and the cavalry battles are over, and the one-on-one matches have just ended.

the first, second and third place podiums rise out of the ground, with Fumikage Tokoyami (class 1-A) on the podium for third, Shoto Todoroki (also class 1-A) on the podium for second, and Katsuki Bakugo (1-A) restrained on the platform for first place.

he was screaming, Bakugo. he was pulling at the restraints and pulling against the chains tying him to the pole. nobody seemed to care, though. nobody.

All Might began to hand out the medals, hugging and speaking with each Tokoyami and Todoroki for a few minutes, before finally reaching Bakugo, and unclipping the muzzle from around his mouth and nose.

instantly, Bakugo takes a deep breath and calls out
"Tenya! Tenya, please!"
clear fear, written all over his face.
and the blue-haired boy is seen fighting through the crowds towards the podiums.

Tenya Iida, a certain blond-haired angry pomeranian's boyfriend, pushed everyone out of the way and made his way onto the first place podium.

he cups Katsuki's face gently, giving him room to pull away if needed.
"Katsuki, sweetheart, you need to tell me whats going on." he whispers gently, holding eye contact

Bakugo moves away from his hands.
"please, untie me, please, i cant breathe"

Tenya begins to work on undoing the chains, all while glaring at all might. as soon as the chains are undone, Katsuki collapses into Tenya, breathing heavily. they both fall to the floor of the podium, Tenya holding Katsuki gently.

Iida looks up at the announcers box, where his homeroom teacher Shota Aizawa (AKA eraserhead) was sat with his husband Hizashi Yamada (AKA present mic). Aizawa gives a short nod and Iida picks up Bakugo, carrying him out of the arena and away from the crowds.

"put me down, damnit, theyre going to think im weak!" Bakugo struggles in Iida's arms, but Iida, being alot taller and much stronger, easily kept ahold of him.

"please, Katsuki, you and i both know you enjoy being held, and nobody can see us anymore." Iida makes an attempt to convince the smaller boy to stop struggling. and it works. Bakugo relaxes slightly into Iida.

"can you tell me what happened back there?"
"its nothing. its stupid."
"not if it caused a reaction like that its not."
"when i was in middle school i got attacked by this sludge villain. it tried to take over my body by literally getting inside of me. i couldnt breathe. now anything covering my face makes me freak out and have some sort of attack. i dont know, see? stupid"
"thats not stupid, Katsuki, youre my boyfriend and i care for you very much. youre safe with me. its ok to admit when youre scared."

Katsuki just makes a 'tch' sound and rolls out of Tenyas arms. the taller of the two wraps an arm loosely around the smaller boy's waist.
"Katsuki."
"what?!" the ash blond turns and screams at Tenya, clearly agitated from what happened
"dont shout at me, i was just going to tell you i love you."
"tch, yeah, whatever." Katsuki runs off in the direction of the gates, leaving the blue haired boy standing alone to think.
