Fear. (kiribaku)

(WARNING: this contains what some would call angst.)

(this is slightly based off of what i saw someone else write, if it was you let me
know and ill take it down)
(a lot of this will be baku's POV)

Bakugo POV:

staring out the window, i get awoken from my daydream by a hardback book getting slammed onto my desk.
"bakugo! are you listening to anything ive been saying?" aizawa asks
i dont answer and he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose
"who can repeat what i just said for bakugo?"
none of the 'bakusquad' put their hand up and i surpress a laugh.
"iida?"
"what sir has been saying is that an english pro is going to be coming in and teaching us today."
i look over to him
"the pro will be helping us get over our fears today."
i nod at him and look toward the door as it opens.

some goth looking woman walks in and we all stand, bowing to her.
"hey kids! you can sit down its ok!" she says in a strangely kind voice
we all sit.
"so, im Nightmare, as you should already know. and today eraserhead as asked me to use my quirk on you to help you get over what youre scared of!" she says and we all nod

~~~time skip: theyre at the training grounds~~~

i look over to my boyfriend. nobody knows were together, but he looks to me with a smile anyways.

"okay! ill be pulling names from a hat to choose who will go first and next!" the hero rummages her hand in a hat before pulling out a name
"can i get bakugo to come up here?"

i sigh, walking up to her cockily
"bet it wont even be scary."
"ok. so how my quirk works, is i can put you into your worst nightmare- your darkest fear. i can take you out at any time but only you and i can see what will be happening." she then addresses the class
"ill be doing it one by one, stay away from the person who has just gone for at least five minutes before going near them. ok?"
i hear a series of agreements and she turns back to me.
"are you ready? i will warn you, this might give you nightmares."
i scoff.
"i was born ready."
she grabs my hand, and im plunged into darkness

i hear eiji's voice.
"bakugo?" he calls out, and i turn around to see him.
he has a look of disgust plastered over his face.
"how could you do that? youre a monster." he starts speaking
"i could never be with someone like you."
confused, i ask "whatd i do..?"
he ignores my question
"youre just a pathetic little bully, bakugo."
tears well up in my eyes
"youll never be a hero with what you've done."
"whatd i do?!!" i shout, tears flowing down my face
"midoriya jumped off of the dorm roof. and its all your fault!"
i let out a choked sob
"youre a monster! you dont deserve to live, let alone be a hero!"
my friends start to come out of the darkness.
Sero: "its your fault he's gone."
Mina: "it shouldve been you!"
Kami: "i should electrocute you right here and now."
they all start circling me, eijiro's voice the loudest.

deku suddenly comes out of the dark, his face all scratched and bloody
"arent you happy, kacchan? i finally took your advice"
they all acted as though they couldnt see him
Sero: "youre so weak, bakugo."
Jiro: "you could never be a hero with such an explosive personality"
Kiri: "youd be better off as a villain"

i let out a loud sob at his last statement, falling to my knees.

(outside of the nightmare)

Kiri POV:

Katsuki drops to his knees, pulling at his hair and sobbing.
he cries out
"deku im SORRY! i didnt fucking mean it! i never meant for you to jump!"
i look over to midoriya, shocked.
"shouldnt you stop? i dont think hed be comfortable with us seeing him like this." i suggest
"if he didnt want this 'deku' to actually hear him we wouldnt have been able to hear him."
