Today was the day! It was Jungwon's birthday! Y/N and the boys worked together to create the best surprise thing ever. Y/N had a few days off of school so she couldn't wait to spend time with him. Y/N had a slight crush on him, but here was the thing: no one else knew AND Jungwon had a girlfriend. Her name was Valencia. She was nice to everyone else but Y/N, mainly because she was jealous of her and wanted to pile her insecurites on her. And she was only using Jungwon because he had money. One of these days, he was going to believe Y/N.
As Y/N was busy trying to get the gifts that everyone got together and the decorations, Valencia came in late. "Valencia, you're late." She said, not even looking but she knew who it was. "I don't care." Valencia rolled her eyes and waved her hand dismissively.
"Oh! Hey, you got your gift for Jungwon?" Y/N ignored her attitude because she wasn't going to deal with her crap today.
"What? No, if anything, he should get /me/ a gift." Valencia says. This made Y/N furrow her eyebrows in confusion. "But today is Jungwon's birthday...nevermind. Heeseung, is the cake ready?" She called.
Heeseung came in with Sunghoon, aprons around their waists while they held the poorly decorated cake. But, it was the thought that counted, right? "Uh, yeah, but it looks horrible." Heeseung chuckled nervously as they set it down on the table. "We should've just bought one, Y/N."
"Boy, don't be like that. I think it looks...not as perfect as the one on TV, but A for effort." Y/N flashed a smile, flipping her curls over her shoulder but her smile faltered at what Valencia had to say.
"No, I think it looks hideous."
"No one asked you what you thought, Valencia." Y/N said in the sweetest way that she could, Sunoo and Jake coming in.
Before Valencia could give back such a trashy response, Sunoo started to speak. "Jay and Ni-ki are coming with Jungwon so quick! Get in your places!" He lightly clapped his hands.
There the boys came in, Jungwon blindfolded and Jay and Ni-ki leading the way. "Okay, Won." Jay says. "Are you ready?"
"Yes, I am, just take this off my eyes!" Jungwon whined and lightly stomped his foot, making Y/N chuckle softly.
Once this blindfold was taken from off his eyes, he saw his friends and his girlfriend but he ignored the bored expression on his face. "Happy birthday, Jungwon!"
"Oh, wow!" He exclaimed, looking around at the room. "This is all for me?"
"Who else would it be for, stupid?" Y/N rolled her eyes playfully and smiled as she hugged him, Jungwon hugging back happily.
He went to greet everyone else and when he went to kiss Valencia, she placed her hand between them and went to go sit down, texting on her phone. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

After everyone had their piece of cake, it was just chill until Y/N noticed something: Valencia was nowhere to be seen. Although she didn't give a damn about what she was doing or where she was, she went to go look for her for Jungwon at least.
She went searching and groaned. "Ugh! Where is this girl a-" Y/N started but heard a voice come from the other room. She peeked in there, gasping at what she was hearing so that's when she started to record so she could show Jungwon and prove to him that Valencia was just using him.
"Of course, baby." Valencia says into her phone, "As soon as this boy's birthday is over, 2 to 3 days I'm breaking up with him. He's so weird, he always wants to be touched."
After her conversation, she hung up the phone and Y/N stopped recording, quickly and quietly going to back to the others.
"Where have you been-" Sunoo asked.
"Not important. Jungwon, come here. I need you to watch this." Y/N had a slight frown on her face. She knew he was going to take this horribly. She played the video and looked to Jungwon, who was shocked. He was feeling all kind of emotions, he really liked this girl, too.
The boys had been gathered around watching it as well. When the video was over, everyone else had frowns on their faces but then Sunghoon scoffed.
"See, I told you she was no good! Happy birthday, I guess." He said, Jake smacking his arm and shaking his head.
"Are you okay, honey?" Y/N frowned as she rubbed Jungwon's shoulder.
Jungwon's mouth was open but he wasn't saying. He simply stood up and went to look for Valencia. Everyone else could tell that he found her because of the yelling that was heard. Valencia came storming out and pointed her finger at Y/N.
"This is your fault! You. Ruined. Everything." And with that, she stormed out as if she was the one who got hurt.
"Girl, please, this was your own damn fault." Y/N called out and sighed. She was just mad because she got caught, that was all.
Jungwon came out from the room, stone faced. He didn't want to show his true emotions right now.
"Jungwon...I'm sorry," Y/N walked towards him and hugged him, Jungwon hugging her tightly as he buried his face into her shoulder.
"I don't think this day could any worse." He mumbled.
Y/N sighed and ran her fingers through his hair lightly. "You know what? To hell with relationships. She walked with a limp anyways." She scoffed, the male laughing and pulling away to look at her with his hands still on his waist.
"You always know how to brighten a bad situation. I love that about you. Maybe you're all I need from now on." He insisted, making her eyebrows lift up.
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, you can be my favorite birthday gift."
Ni-ki pouted. "Hey! I thought you said mine was your favorite!"
"Not now, Ni-ki." Jungwon glared a bit, moving to hug Y/N tighter, who laughed a bit as she was picked up and twirled around.
