Chapter 16: Jelousy

Brandon found his self driving nowhere. Not even sure where it actually headed when finally, his eyes caught a bar. 21 Street, Jack's Bar.

You just need a liquor to think properly, Brandon! Sabi ng kanyang isip na para bang may bumubulong sa kanya.

He parked his car near the entrance of the bar like what other's did and unbuckled his self. When he pushed the glass door of the bar, he felt its homecoming effect to whoever may enter the bar.

Ironic. He thought.

Sandaling nawala sa isip nya kung paano at bakit sya nandoon ngayon. He observed the whole place. To his amusement, people there knows each other which is so platonic. They are talking like they are all close together and knows all their whereabouts.

He take the path going to the left corner of the bar where there's no much of people passed by. He sat down idly as he gaze to the whole crowd.

"Hey, Sir. New here?" A man which looks like in his age too asks him. It must be the barista.

"Yeah." He was speechless.

"You are always welcome here and make some friends. That is what makes this bar different from the bars in the city. People here shown respect to each other and really homecoming for everyone." The man said proudly as his eyes glittered.

"You have a problem, I guess.. So what do you want me to serve for you?" The man added.

"Give me some whisky." He answered him politely with a fake smile on his lips when he remember why he was there.

The boy served his drink and swallowed it all. He looks like an animal who crave for a flesh. He ask for more one shot.

"Ohhh! Dude, you can talk to me if you have any problem huh?" The man said as he served his another shot.

Magaan ang pakiramdam nya sa lalaki. Pero humingi sya dito ng pasensya dahil gusto nya talaga mag-isa. Gusto nya mag-isip.

"Okay, dude. I am Adrian. You can count on me anytime." Sabi nito at lumayo na sa kanya.

He shook his head. He need to make up his mind fast as he could cause he didn't even know who was the devil and real enemy. And he wasn't aware by that feeling. Para syang bumalik sa high school where he dated his first crush na hindi naman sya pinahirapan kagaya ng nararamdaman nya ngayon. Pero iba si Julianne. He doesn't know what this girl got para pahirapan sya nito.

"What was wrong with you, Brandon Maxfield! She's not even a relative or a girlfriend to you. So why acted as if she was made perfectly to yours?" Pagalit nya sa kanyang sarili.

All of his life ay wala syang ginusto na hindi nya nakuha. He always change his girl fast as he could change his underwear.

"Ang babae parang t-shirt yan. Bakit ka magtyatyaga sa iisang t-shirt kung marami ka naman t-shirts pa na pamimilian." He thought. Yun din ang dahilan kaya iniwasan nya ang pumasok sa isang relasyon at magseryoso. Para sa kanya ay bonus lang ang pagkakaroon ng relasyon.

He ask for another drinks. Adrian gave him a warning look.

This guy happens to be so cool.. He smile on the thought. He's quite tipsy but he can send himself at home. In a minute, Adrian carried the whole bottle of whisky and add an another glass and sat down beside him. He called another man to make his job.

"Oh geez, man! You don't have to do it! You may lost your job! For Pete's sake!" He said with amusement in his eyes. Does Adrian know what he was doing? Sitting beside him and sacrifice his job just to share him with his table.
