Chapter 5 : The Final Stage

( Guren P. O. V )

It was night time, and I already prepared to go to sleep. However, with only Max accompanying me, I start to get a little lonely.

" It sure is quiet around here..... "- I thought as I started at my window.

I was bored and didn't know what to do. Suddenly, an idea came into my mind.

Guren : A-ha! I could call dad!. It's been awhile anyways.

I didn't waist time and quickly typed my dad's number on my wrist-watch. It rang as a sign that it was connecting. I waited for awhile and sighed, thinking that he was too busy. But I was wrong.....

Mr. Nash : Hello?.

Guren : Hi dad, it's me.

Mr. Nash : Guren?!. Hi there kiddo, how have things been?.

Guren : Uh.....great!. I guess.....

Mr. Nash : Let me guess, you're lonely?.

Guren : *blushing* H-how did you......

Mr. Nash : 'Know about it's?.  I'm your father after all.

Guren : I really can't hide anything from you dad...

Mr. Nash : But I'm sorry, Guren. I have to leave you alone longer than I should have. Are you okay there?.

Guren : I'm okay dad. And don't worry, I have my friends here. So you should keep on focusing on your job.

" But......are you sure you're okay?..... "

That last sentence kinda weird me out. I think my dad noticed what he just said, and he gave out an awkward chuckle.

Mr. Nash : S-sorry.... Those words just came outta my mouth.

Guren : *frown* Dad..... Are you hiding something from me?.

Mr. Nash : H-hiding?!. W-what are you talking about?!. I'm not hiding anything!.....

Guren : You sure about that?.

Mr. Nash : Of course!. Anyways....you should go to sleep now. It's almost midnight.

Guren : *check his watch* Oh yeah. I didn't realize how late it was. Well, I'll call you tomorrow...

" If we even meet tomorrow... "

Guren : Dad?.

Mr. Nash : Uh.....never mind that!. Goodnight, Guren...

Guren : Goodnight, dad. See ya.....

After that, dad ended the call. I only let out a sigh. I did what dad told me and prepared to go to sleep.

Once I've done that I laid in my bed while petting Max who is beside me. I can't sleep for awhile because I kept on thinking about my call with dad.

" Why was dad acting so strangely?. "- I thought.

But I shook the it off. Maybe he was just too exhausted out from work. I make that excuse to keep my head from stressing out.

Besides, I have school tomorrow. And the guys and I are planning to meet up at the shop. So, I closed my eyes and slowly fall asleep.

" I couldn't believe what I saw in my dream. No, this is my worst nightmare........ "

I opened my eyes to only see darkness. I was in a black room, with nobody insight. I stand up and see a hologram playing in front of me.

I walked up to it to take a closer look. But what I saw, shook me to my core...
