Dixie and Noah continued walking down the busy side streets, making their way around the big city. Noah has lived in the city for a few months now, but dixies only been here for a few weeks. This was the first time she has actually went "sight seeing" and was glad that Noah was there with her to show her around.

They walked around for another 20 minutes, they didn't say much though, they just listened to the traffic of the busy city. Soon Noah stopped them in front of a small bakery. "dixie damelio, i present to you magnolia bakery the happiest place on earth" noah smiled

"i don't believe you" dixie said skeptically

"try their cheesecake, then tell me you don't believe me"  he grinned

They walked into the bakery, with Noahs arm still around dixie and went up to the register to be greeted by a middle aged women. She gave them both a warm smile and asked what they would like.

"two cheesecake cups" noah told the woman

"coming right up! that will be $8.46" the lady said to them

Dixie reached into the back pocket of her jeans but noah stopped her "i got it dixie" he assured her and turned to pay the lady.

She gave noah his change and their food. they where about to walk away but the woman stopped them "sir, your girlfriend is very pretty" she laughed at the two

"i'm not-" dixie began to say but noah cut her off and looked down at her "she is, isn't she?" he said smiling down at dixie

"your a very lucky man, i wish you two the best" she smiled warmly at the young 'couple'
Noah didn't want to correct her, she was so sweet and he thought it was also a bit funny

"i really am, thank you have a good day!" be waved and walked out the door with dixie

"who the hell do you think you are?" dixie said sarcastically once they got outside

"i'm noah beck nice to meet you" he smiled cluelessly, sitting down at one of the tables outside of the small shop

"you don't get to become my boyfriend that easily" she rolled her eyes and sat across from him

"don't get to ahead of yourself, i never said i wanted to be your boyfriend but the woman was sweet and i didn't want to correct her"

"yea sure"

"i'm serious! i was just pretending"

"oh so you don't think I'm pretty? you think I'm ugly?"

"what? no! wait-"

"i'm messing with you idiot, i already know i'm pretty"

"oh dixie what are we gonna do with you" noah said shaking his head

"hey your not perfect either, your the one that suggested desert before dinner" she laughed

"oh shit dinner" noah said frantically grabbing his phone to check the time "fuck it's 5:40"

"can't we still make it and be only 10 minutes late?" dixie asked him sympathetically, she felt bad because he actually seemed upset and she could help but feel like it was her fault

"no, when i called them it was the last reservation of the day since it was last minute, they probably gave it away already" he sighed

"oh noah i'm so sorry, i completely lost track of time that's my fault" dixie said sincerely
