It's the last day they are in Seattle and Madeline was sad to leave because it's the happiest she's been in months. Madeline is so used to hiding her feelings that no one even noticed she was struggling back in Boston, but in Seattle it was different because she was mostly happy and not lonely. Madeline really missed the feeling of being happy and in a day or so she knew that would probably change.

Madelines Pov:

I had all my bags packed and ready to go I was waiting outside with Mark. "Lexie hurry up" Mark yelled. "Does she always take this long" Mark asks me. "Yeah pretty much" I say giggling. Mom finally came out of the house "I'm ready to go" Mom says her eyes meeting with Marks blue eyes, I also got his eyes and the Sloan nose. I reminded mom a lot of Mark. "Get in the car Mads I need to talk to your mom" Mark said looking at me. "Fine" I say rolling my eyes and getting into the car.

Lexies Pov:

"So how is this relationship gonna work" I ask. "I'll visit sometimes and you can visit me sometimes and we will call or text everyday" Mark said. "Your kid will want to visit too you know" I say. Mark smiles "Why are you smiling" I ask confused. "You called her my kid, it's the first time you've done that" Mark says. "Well she is your kid have you seen her nose and eyes" I say kissing him. We get into the car and drive to the airport. "When you two get there text me or call me to make sure you're safe" Mark said. "We know" Madeline said hugging him. "Bye Mark" I say hugging him tight. "Bye guys I'm going to miss you two" Mark says.

No ones Pov:

Lexie and Madeline get home after a long flight and start unpacking all of their things. After they unpack and get settled in Lexie go and take a nap. Madeline on the other hand is going through pictures she took in Seattle. She hasn't even been in Boston a whole day and already misses Seattle.

TRIGGER WARNING

Madelines Pov:

3 weeks have passed and I wake up to an empty house because Mom was on call today. When I woke up I didn't want to do anything I just wanted to lay down on her bed and do nothing. I was so tired of the same thing over and over again I had no one to hang out with because I had distanced myself from everyone but my family. I finally decide to get up after doing nothing for two hours. I walked around and it was so quiet I could hear my own footsteps. My thoughts were getting to me just die, you would never be good enough, no one cares about you, they won't even notice you're not here anymore. I then give in I go into my room and get my blade I put it over my left wrist and cut one cut, two cuts, three cuts, four cuts and as if that wasn't enough I did the same to my other wrist one cut, two cuts, three cuts. She got some paper to clean the bleeding but the more I cleaned the more blood came out. It was weird for me because it would usually stop by now so after a while when I saw the bleeding wasn't stopping I had started regret it. I start to feel lightheaded so I made the decision to call my mom.

Lexie: Hey Maddie I'm still at work I'll be out in a few hours
Me: Mom... mommy I need you to come home I'm.... sorry *bang*

I had fainted and Mom hung up and knew something wasn't right she got home in about 5 minutes. "Maddie where are-" she cuts herself off when she sees me passed out in my room surrounded by blood. Mom gets paper and towels to try and stop the bleeding as much as she can while she calls 911.

Operator: 911 what's your emergency
Lexie: My daughter she is 14 and is bleeding out from her wrist she has lost a lot of blood
Operator: We sent out an ambulance they will be there in 2 minutes

Lexies Pov:

2 minutes later there is an ambulance at the house putting Madeline on a stretcher and taking her to Mass Gen. When they get there Madeline gets taken to trauma 1. "Dr. Grey what happened" a nurse said. "Maddie cut her wrist and I found her in a puddle of blood" I explained crying scared that Maddie was going to die. "Do you want us to call someone Dr. Grey" the nurse asked. "No it's fine I could call her dad" I said. "Are you sure" the nurse said. "Yes" I said pulling out my phone to call Mark.
