Richie's eyes widened. "Uh, what?"

"On your cheek.." Leah reached out and pointed at his cheek.

"Oh..uh..I-I just ran into a...door frame." He stutters out. Leah looked up at him and made direct eye contact through his thick framed glasses.

"You're lying." She kept that eye contact to hopefully get the truth out of him.

"N-no..I'm not."

Leah breaks the eye contact, knowing he won't tell her the truth and sighs.

"Fine." She says with a small attitude.

"Anyway..how was your day..?"

"It was good until I was walking home with Eddie..I-I saw the clown again." Leah says, making eye contact again when she says the part with the clown. Richie's eyes widen again.

"Shit.."

"Yeah, have you seen anything possibly?" She questions.

"No..I wonder if anyone else has."

"Who knows. But please don't tell anyone.."

"I won't, I promise."

"Pinky promise?" She says holding out her pinky.

"Pinky promise." He wraps his pinky around hers. They both stand there for a second and Richie starts to lean in, but Leah pulls away, not realizing what he was doing.

"Ok well, I'm gonna go back in before my mom comes home."

"Oh..ok. Bye Leah."

"Bye, Rich." They both blush as Leah walks away and into her house.

Leah wakes up the next day by her mother yelling at her from downstairs.

"LEAH!!"

"Yes, mom?" Leah tiredly responds back.

"You have a phone call!"

"Ok, coming?" Leah says more in a question than a statement. She didn't know who would be calling her early in the morning.

"Hello?" Leah asks with confusion in her voice.

"Hey..Leah." Bev. Holy shit.

"Oh. Hey! Uhm..what's up?"

"Nothing, but there's something I need to show you. I know we aren't friends, but I need to you come over. Get Richie, I already called the others."

"Oh..ok-" Before Leah had time to respond, Bev hung up. Leah remembered her address, so she quickly ran upstairs to get ready. She put on a simple white shirt and jean shorts with lip gloss. She then put on her black Converse and was heading downstairs.

"Leah, where are you going?" Her mother asked.

"Just on a bike ride." Leah lied to her mother again.

"Ok." and with that Leah was scrambling onto her bike and over to Richie's. She knocked on the door and waiting a few seconds before Richie answered.

To Leah he looked hot. His hair was a little messy, his glasses were slightly slanted, and he was also in a white shirt with plaid pajama pants. She didn't even realize she was checking him out until he said something.

"Like what you see?" He said with a small laugh and a yawn. Leah blushed.

"Oh..I- uh.."

"Relax. What's up?"

"Oh. Bev called me and said to come get you and go over to her place."

"Bev? Called you?" Confusion twisted on the boy's face.

"Yes. Can you get ready so we can go?"

"Jeez, yeah gimme a sec. Come in." Richie then walked out of the doorway and Leah walked in. He closed the door behind her and they both walked in. Leah stood there awkwardly, and he walked into the kitchen.

"Make yourself at home. My parent's aren't home so..I'll be down in a sec."

"Ok." Leah jumped up and sat on the counter as Richie walked upstairs. She was sitting there just looking around, so she decided to hop off the counter and explore a little bit. As she walked out of the kitchen she found herself in the living room. She looked over on a table that was next to the couch and saw a picture of baby Richie. She laughed to herself and walked to another table in the living room. It had a picture of his family on it. Aw that's cute, Leah thought. She heard him start to walk down the stairs so she rushed over to the entrance of the kitchen, looking as if she's been there the whole time.

"Alright, lets go." Richie led her out the door, and he locked it behind them. He then placed the key under a plant pot and they stepped off his porch and got on their bikes. They were biking in silence, as usual, when they heard someone come up behind them. Leah slightly turned her head and saw Eddie.

"Hey Eddie!" Leah said as he caught up and started to bike next to her.

"Hi!"

"Eddie Spaghetti!!" Richie yelled over to him. Eddie rolled his eyes and ignored him. They were all having small conversation and as they turned a corner, Ben biked up to them. They all said hi and kept going. Leah led the way because she knew where Bev's house was. Once they turned one more corner they saw Bill and Stan together so they all biked up and continued on the way together and were almost at Bev's street.

"We gotta go through the alleyway." Leah piped up, since she knew each way to Bev's house.

"The alley takes too long." Eddie countered.

"No, the alley is so much faster." Stan was now in the conversation.

"The alley is more dangerous, and it's more disgusting" The germaphobe said.

"How is it more dangerous?" Stan argued.

"It smells like piss, and it's gross. Just take the side streets for once." Eddie argued back.

"What is it with you and thinking things smell like piss?" Leah asked, but got ignored.

"Oh my god." Stan said back to Eddie. "The side streets are, like, the same. They smell like piss and shit"

"Ok ok. Can you just tell me what she said to you?" Eddie was done with the argument.

"She didn't say anything. She just said to hurry over."

"She didn't say anything. Ok ok." Once Eddie finished, Bev came running down the small hill and the bottom of the steps to the Losers, out of breath.

"You made it. I... I need to show you something." The group looked at the red head.

"What is it?" Ben asked.

"More than we saw at the quarry?" Richie comments. Leah looked at him with disgust.

"Shut up! Just shut up Richie!' Eddie says. Leah looks at Eddie and laughs slightly.

"My dad will kill me if he finds out I had boys in the apartment." Bev ignores Richie's comment. Bill motions at the group.

"Then..we'll leave a lookout. Richie st-s-stay here." The group all drop their bikes and start to walk to the stairs.

"Whoa whoa whoa! What if her dad comes back?" Richie looks at the group and Leah and Stan turn around. Leah shrugs with an apologetic smile.

"Do what you always do, start talking." Stan says. Leah snickers and starts to walk up the stairs with the rest of the Losers.

"It is a gift.."
