Leah and Bill then slowly explore the room, trying to find possible ways to get Richie out of the room he's shut in. Leah then hears Richie scream again and goes racing to the door, having enough of it.
"Bill come help!!" She yells. The two finally get the door open and Richie comes flying out. Bill then slams the door behind him. Leah engulfs him in a hug, never wanting to let go.
"I'm so sorry." She whispers to him.
"Let's get outta here." Bill rushes. Leah lets go of the hug when they here giggling coming from the mattress on the other side of the room. They all look over and see the mattress convulsing. A rip forms in the top if it, and a head comes out.
"Eddie..?" Richie questions.
"You wanna play lougie?" 'Eddie' asks in a hoarse voice. This makes Leah have flashbacks to that day with the 'Richie' in the clearing, when she first encountered the clown. A black substance then comes out of 'Eddie's' mouth and his head starts spazzing out. More of the liquid started trailing towards the kids and the 'Eddie' head disappeared. As the liquid came closer to them, Leah noticed it was sizzling?
The three kids started to back up from it, not knowing what the substance was. As it came closer, they turned around looking to run to an exit. As they turned, they saw three white doors with red writing on them. 'Not Scary At All, Scary, Very Scary' they read. The group looked at all of the doors, not knowing what to do. Bill ran to the Not Scary At All door, and Richie and Leah followed. They opened the door, and it was pitch black with a light string hanging down.
"Where's my shoe?" a small girly voice asked. Bill reached for the light string and clicked it on. They all saw only a top half of Betty Ripsom, chained up. Where the bottom half of her was? They didn't know. Leah screamed and Richie slammed the door.
"Where the fuck were her legs??" The three inched closer to the door as the black liquid was coming closer. "Holy shit, what the fuck was that?" Richie screamed. Leah was slightly more calm than Richie, but she was still freaking out and felt slightly lightheaded. Bill then grabbed Richie's shoulders.
"This isn't real. Remember the missing kid poster. That wasn't real, so this isn't real." Bill calmed Richie down. Bill then put Richie and Leah behind him protectively.
"Come on. Ready?" He asked the two.
"No!" Leah and Richie yelled together. Bill ignored them, and opened the door. They sighed in relief when nothing was there.
"Oh thank fuck." Richie breathed.
"Where's Eddie?" as if on cue, the group heard Eddie scream for help. The kids then took off towards the screams. Leah body slammed through a door, Bill and Richie following her.
"Eddie!" Richie yelled, slightly out of breath. That's when they saw the clown, almost on top of Eddie.
"Holy shit." Leah said. The clown then smiles evilly, while looking up at the kids.
"This wasn't real enough for you Billy? I'm not real enough for you? It was real enough for Georgie." The clown 'whimpers.' Leah's jaw dropped. The clown then jumped away from Eddie, and at the three. Right as it's about to get them, Bev comes in stabbing a pole through it's head. All the kids in the room gasp.
The clown wails, leaving blood to slowly float up to the ceiling.
"Get Eddie!" Bill and Richie yell. Eddie screams as Leah, Bill, Richie, and Bev run over to him. The clown slowly stands back up straight and growls demonically.
"Oh fuck! We gotta get out of here!" Richie yells, not even noticing the clown. The only two to notice were Bill and Leah. The clown then turns to the group and growls more. By now, everyone has seen Its new form.
"Get Eddie lets go!"
"Guys watch out!" The clown started making its way over to the kids, and claws teared out of the white gloves it previously had on its hands.
"No, no. no, no, no!" Eddie screams.
"Eddie look at me!" Richie grabs his face, to try and turn his attention away from the demon clown, slowly coming towards them.
"He's gonna get us! Guys! NO!"
Leah was silent this whole time, not knowing what to do. She felt insanely light headed, and felt like passing out. She fought that urge for now, knowing the dangers she was facing at the moment. She was also mainly still, only moving when the clown lunged at her and Bev. The clown then slashed through Ben's stomach, and slowly walked away from everything it caused. Once it was out of the door frame, Leah started slowly slipping in and out of consciousness.
Everyone's screams were slurred together in her brain, she wasn't able to make out full sentences. She saw Bill walk out of the doorframe and yelled after him. That didn't stop him, so she went after him. Once she walked a few steps, she slightly felt better. She followed him and once she got to the stairs down to the basement, she felt awful again. She decided to stop follow him, and instead walk back to the chaos.
As she was about to walk back into the room, her eyes rolled to the back of her head and everything went black.
