(Reena's POV)Bonney flopped back on my bed. "Are you ready!?"
Folding clothes into a suitcase, I poked my tongue out while biting on it with a smile. "More than ready!"
"Good!" Slapping her hands against the mattress, she stood up and spanned her arms out. "Because we are going to have a freaking awesome time on this cruise! No chores, no work, no school-"
"No Kaku..." I didn't mean to sound so depressed when I said it, but I couldn't help it. It'd only been five months since we officially ended things between us. And even with everything he put me through, I still missed him from time to time. I missed his presence the I'd grown used to.
"Knock, knock." Wearing a big smile, Pudding stuck her head into the room. "Marco's downstairs waiting."
Releasing the knot in my stomach with a long exhale, I smiled. "We better head out then!" Closing my suitcase, I went over my check list to make sure that I didn't forget anything.
"This is going to be a party!" Bonney helped me lug my suitcase off the bed. "Between us and the boys, it's going to be great!"
Wheeling my suitcase out of the room, I made sure that all the windows were locked before leaving the apartment with Bonney and Pudding. "I can't wait to see everyone!"
"According to Marco, Sabo, Luffy and Ace are already at the airport waiting for us," Pudding said.
"Already?" Bonney shook her head, walking down the stairs with Pudding. "I'm sure Sabo was persistent to get there super early."
While they headed down the steps, I locked up.
"Do you need help with your suitcase-yoi?" Marco asked, climbing up the steps.
"I won't say no to the help. The last time I carried my suitcase down the steps-"
"You slipped and sprained your ankle. I remember-yoi."
I rotated my ankle around. "I'd hate for that to happen before our cruise!"
Hearing my phone ding, I dug through my purse and checked the texts.
Killer: We're at the airport now!
Reena: Us too! Drive safe!
"Killer?" Marco asked, headed to the car with my suitcase in tow.
I followed him down the stairs. "Yeah, they're at the airport now."
My phone dinged again.
Sanji: Are you sure I shouldn't go with the speedo? I heard that women on the islands dig speedos.
Reena: ...No speedo.
Marco tucked my luggage into the boot. "Sanji?"
"How'd you guess?"
"You have a ring tone for everyone you text-yoi."
"And you've memorized them?"
He shrugged before getting into the front seat.
Noticing Bonney in the passenger seat, I got into the back with Puddy.
She held out a piece of wrapped gum. "Gum?"
"Thanks!" I shoved it into my mouth and relaxed.
With our nonstop light chatter, the drive to the airport seemed like it was only mere minutes. After we checked in and got ourselves in order, we made our way to where the others were.
