Holding the humans soul, the demon bit their lip, holding an inner argument with themselves about what to do with this person. On the one hand, they saved an entire village from burning down. On the other hand though, they killed their brother in a gun fight when they were fourteen years old. The red-skinned creature glanced over at the pale angel next to them.
"What do you think?" they asked, looking back down at the bubble containing all this person's memories. "Should we let them in, or do we sentance him to hell?"
The angel shook their head, a sad look on their face. "It was murder. We can't let him in," the demon nodded, scratching their horns with their long claws. They stepped towards the human, who was kneeling down, awaiting their fate. They pressed the bubble onto his forehead, waiting for it to melt into the human. Once the bubble was all the way in again, the human looked up at them, a pleading and terrified look on their pale face.
"No! Please, I didn't mean for it to happen!" The human begged, tears welling up in his eyes.
The demon gave a sympathetic look. You'd think that being a demon, they would be this merciless being with no moral meanings. That just simply wasn't true. Most demons weren't horrible people, and if they used to be, they definitely wouldn't be after being kept in the depths of hell for long.
The human's skin turned a fiery red, horns coming out of his head and wings springing from his back. Shrieks of pain left his mouth, but all the demon and angel could do was watch.
As the human - now turned demon - was escorted to hell, another human walked in. The angel gasped, not because of the scars and wounds scattered all over the girl's body, but rather because of the beauty. She had bronze skin, dark hair and a twinkle in her dark eyes. The twinkle was from tears. "Am i dead?" She asked, an already angelic voice.
The demon nodded, sadly. The girl's eyes filled with fear and sadness: "No! I can't be! My love will be without me!" She cried, desperatley needing comfort. The angel sighed and signaled to the Demon. The demon walked over to the girl and touched her forehead with the palm of his hand. "What are you do-" she stopped talking as a bubble started to form in the demon's hand. The bubble was a green colour, a sign from the goddess of heaven, to let this girl into heaven.
The demon nodded at the angel, grabbing a knife and popping the bubble, making the girl lose all her memories.
The angel shrugged and looked into their clipboard. "Let's see what you're allowed to remember, shall we?" They said, smiling at the speechless girl. They hummed and furrowed their brows. "Seems like you're only allowed to know your name and age. Well, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, I wish you a nice stay here. You're 23 years old. Your roomates are Makhyli and Zayn in room 70," They said, before the girl was escorted away.
