"I hate my weaknesses,
they make me who I am.
It makes no difference,
I'm insignificant"

"You have one hour. To explain. That's all. And don't mistake this for anything else. This changes nothing."

"Ok"

Me and Draco were stood outside the Slytherin common room. I hadn't told any of the others about how Draco got me out of the punishment. I had done as his letter had said and met him at the door of the common room. He came up to the doors and opened them slightly to see me stood there.

I can't tell you myself why I decided to meet him. I was so adamant to myself that I wouldn't go to him. He didn't deserve even a second of my time. But I don't know why, the way he had saved me from Carrow made me intrigued to what it was he so desperately wanted to tell me. And anyway, I had my wand. Though I knew he wouldn't hurt me. I don't know how I knew, but I did.

"And where are we going?" I folded my arms and looked at him - he was beginning to make his way down the hall.

"Not here. There is an empty classroom a few corridors down." He said to me, hardly stopping before continuing to walk down the corridor. I followed him, not being able to shout to him as to not attract death eaters.

I followed him in silence. We didn't encounter any staff along the way, but even if we did, Draco would of been able to make something up about how he was escorting me to a teacher - as head boy and a prefect, he was permitted to be in the halls after hours. Other students were not allowed to leave their common rooms after six.

...

I closed the door of the empty classroom behind us. I turned to face Draco after locking the door with a spell and casting a soundproofing enchantment on it.

"Ok then Malfoy." I said to him crossing my arms. "What is it that you so desperately want to tell me?"

He looked away from me and let out a sigh of frustration. He walked over to the window on the side of the room and placed his hands on the windowsill, leaning on them looking out of the window. He was still wearing the same long sleeved shirt he had worn all the way through last term. Only now, the sleeves were rolled up - the bottom of the smoky dark mark on his forearm peeking out.

"I told you Malfoy. You only have an hour" I said sternly. I stood my ground with him - I wasn't going to be gentle with him.

"I want you to know why this happened" he said turning around to me. He extended his arm slightly displaying the bottom of his mark. It still made me shiver.

"Your a death eater." I said. "What more is there to it?"

"I'll tell you. But first, here." He reached into his large robes pocket causing me to extend my wand to him, me expecting him to reveal his wand. But instead, he pulled out a plastic bag that I couldn't quite make out the contents of. I looked at him suspiciously as I took a few steps closer to him. As I got closer, I realised what the bag was.

"I managed to pocket them when I was helping with going through mail. I thought you might want them". I took the bag of my grandmothers cookies from him.
