"I was placed in this universe to love you.
And I don't take something that important lightly"- A. R. Asher
...
Their barely lit figures slipped through the other alleyway a few buildings down. I searched my mind for how you know who knew that Harry was going to Hogwarts, but I didn't have time to figure it out.
Keeping myself pressed firmly against the wall of the buildings, I rounded the corner, edging closer to the alley I had seen Harry Ron and Hermione slip down. I peered down the alleyway to try and search for them, but the fog shrouded my view.
I turned down the alley, treading lightly not wanting to attract attention to myself. The fog was thick and almost opaque down this alley and I moved forward hoping that someone would make their presence known.
The alleyway widened, a few steps turning to the right. I went up them, quickening to try and find them before I lost them for good.
I continued walking hastily down the pathway, but through the fog I could see the tall shape of a metal gate sealing off the end of the path start to form. I walked right up to it, placing my hand on the bars, looking around me for another path they could have slipped down, but I couldn't see them.
I figured the only thing that could of happened was they found a way out of the path lined with buildings on the way here. I turned, beginning to make my way back along the path when I heard a faint sound that almost make me jump out of my skin. It sounded like a door shutting.
I saw there was a wooden door that was already shut when I had reached the gate on the walls of the house right next to the dead end. I felt my heart rate increase as I slowly walked over to the door, the only thing I could think that happened was that they had slipped into this house that I expected to be deserted.
My wand clutched, I placed my hand in the doorknob, hearing it squeak slightly as I turned it. The latch of the door let out a click and after taking one final look around me to ensure I wasn't being followed, I stepped foot inside the building, quietly shutting the door behind me.
I found myself stood in a small hall, another wooden door at the end of it that was shut. The wooden walls looked as though they had been worn down and splintered with age and dirt. A carpet that collected dirt and dust lay on the floor softening my footsteps as I walked over to the door at the other end of the hallway. I could vaguely hear a small shuffle from the room at the end of the door, but it didn't continue.
I took a deep breath, praying I hadn't been foolish in my decisions and placed my hand on the door handle, opening it as slow and cautiously as I had the first one.
"EXPELLIARMUS!"
The firm grip I had on my wand proved useless as the spell cast by the voice of a girl sent my wand flying across the room that I had revealed with the opening on the door. As I looked up, I could see what I had prayed would be there - Harry Ron and Hermione.
Ron was stood close to me and before I could react or respond, he pushed me firmly by the shoulder against the wall, me crashing into it with a loud bang, his wand jabbed harshly into my neck.
"What the hell do you want?" Ron asked furiously, the anger on his face prominent.
"You have to leave" I said. "You know who. He knows you are coming to Hogwarts"
