Miya Atsumu's POV

Life's getting better. Not just for me, for everyone. Everyone's smiles seem to be more genuine. Love has seemed to blossom between everyone. Osamu and Terushima are together, Tooru and Iwaizumi are together, Akaashi and Bokuto are together, Kuroo and Kenma are dating. Everything's just going well. Everyones finding themselves in a good mood. It could've either been the fact that school was nearing an end, or simply that life was getting better.

It was only two weeks until school got out, which also meant Kiyoomi's birthday was coming. We have yet to go on a date though. We decided to move it forward since so much had been happening. So much as in Kiyoomi was moving forward in life. He's taken a part time job as a waiter. His boss is great and lets him wear a mask and gloves. Plus, the customers seemed to find him mysterious, which attracted more customers. Every time I found myself feeling jealous he would tell me, 'You're the only one for me, forever.'

Osamu and I tried to tell him there was no need for him to work. He claimed he didn't want us to pay for everything. He even insisted to help us pay mortgage. Although we have no such thing. Then he insisted to help pay with water and electric bills, which we declined. After awhile he explained he wanted a job anyway. He claimed he wanted to be able to pay for college with his own money. He also wanted to pay for his own clothes and necessities.

Another thing moving forward in his life is he's gotten into therapy. After determining wether to call the doctor or not, he decided to. Awhile back when Kiyoomi's dad came home, his doctor offered him to get professional help. He was hesitant at first since he didn't want to be rehomed. After all, he is still a minor living with no guardians. When we called to say he was interested, there had to be a parents confirmation. We explained his situation and at first they said he had to be put in foster care. I explained he could stay with us until he comes of age and we had more than enough money to take care of him.

After a lot of legal work from both Kiyoomi's family and mine, we got everything worked out. The process was straining, taking about a week to get through. In the end, we got a copy of his birth certificate, a lot of paperwork, and even a passport. He was to live with us and be able to get the professional help he needed. We have him down for twice a week. He's had two sessions so far and claims he gets along with his therapist. He's yet to go on medication, since he still hasn't been there long enough to get a diagnosis.

All of that had been besides the point. As of now, it was the day before our first ever date. We've sworn to stay together forever, we live together, we're madly in love, and have yet to go on a date.

It was a Friday night and I was quick to go to sleep, excited for the next day to come. Just for dramatic effect we slept away from each other, so we would want to see each other even more when the date came. We agreed to go all out. I told him not to worry about price and that this was something I wanted to remembered. So he gave up on insisting he uses his worked off money to pay. Another thing he insisted on, was he arrange the entire thing. I gave him a budget of 200,000 yen. I claimed if there was even a 100 yen left I'd be pissed. Of course, I wouldn't tell 'Samu what I planned to spend four months worth of spending money on. I was a bit more irresponsible with money, yet I've never come to regret anything. Well maybe giving Bokuto money but beside that, never regret it.

I was used to my brother waking me up early in the morning, but on a school day. It was a Saturday morning when I was shaken awake at 9 o'clock. Of course, I was confused, so I thought it was just another school day. To my surprise, it was Kiyoomi waking me up.
