epilogue

"hello, we are tomorrow by together!" yelled all of them in unison.

"hmm, what are we going to do today?" asked kai looking at his friends.

"there's no point doing this," said taehyun. "they'll anyways post a video on youtube with the title of our contents."

"and i'm sure the editors will cut right here," said beomgyu

soobin and yeonjun chuckled. "quit bullying him :("

the editors behind the cameras pointed at him and soobin and put out a cross.

yeonjun frowned not understanding.

beomgyu leaned into yeonjun and whispered, "he said no PDA or any attempts at kissing soobin"

"what! no way."

the editor gave him a stern look and relented nonetheless.

"anyways," continued taehyun "today we'll be reacting to our new music video, woohoo. has anyone seen it yet?"

all of them shook their head indicating a no.

"i hope all of you have heard our new title track called, "happy" and it's written by none other than our beloved yeonjun hyung."

yeonjun smiled and said, "yes, this song means a lot to me so i hope you guys can love and appreciate my work."

soobin grabbed yeonjun's hand and squeezed it, earning a glare from the editors.

"so, i'm going to play it" said kai and clicked on the space bar.

the set started off at a school, a school that was all too familiar for the boys.

yes, they shot this scene at their old high school which was a roller-coaster ride for them.

sitting on a table was beomgyu, taehyun, and kai chatting happily. then, the scene shifted to yeonjun, sitting all alone in a classroom, and once again shifted to soobin being a new kid surrounded by people.

"wah, this makes me feel so nostalgic," said beomgyu "moa, did you know that this was the high school we all went to?"

"it sure does bring back memories," said soobin

as the music began, it showed beomgyu and taehyun making friends with yeonjun and yeonjun being hesitant in talking to them.

"wow, yeonjun hyung looks good," said beomgyu.

yeonjun smiled and said, "of course i am. y'all jealous cause you don't have these visuals."

beomgyu rolled his eyes, "i'm the visual of the team, you h--happy boy"

boy, that was a pathetic save.

the scene then moves on to soobin who sits with a bunch of unfamiliar faces but longingly looked at the table where yeonjun and everyone else sat. as if that was where he belonged.

the scene once again switches.

everyone falls silent, watching the mv in full seriousness.

this time it's a yeonjun solo shot. he's trapped inside a small, small box with no escape. angry words are making the box tumble over and yeonjun can't do anything. he's bound inside that box.

and when the chorus comes, it shows the other members bringing yeonjun out of the box, out into the open world and away from the darkness.

the members could feel everything they felt back then. especially, yeonjun and soobin.

it may be a small detail that the fans wouldn't notice but it was soobin who had grabbed yeonjun's hand and pulled him out of the box, in the mv.

members started commenting again and then suddenly paused the music video.

"hey look at this, it says something in english."

"That's not a happy story," said soobin

"well, i don't live a happy life" said yeonjun, shrugging.

it was a torn page of a book that had the words imprinted in them.

"what does shrugging mean?"

kai shrug his shoulders indicating that's what it meant.

the mv was soon coming towards an end and the last scene of the mv was yet another piece of paper.

"Now, that's a happy story" said soobin

"well, now i live a happy life" replied yeonjun, his bright smile illuminating the whole room.

"wow, that was such a good mv." said kai.

"i know right. honestly, this is one of the favorite songs" said beomgyu.

deep down, it was everyone's favorite song. it was a song written with so much emotion and meaning behind it.

TXT had come from a long journey from their past and they were going to continue on it forever.
yeonjun looked at soobin and smiled.

he was indeed happy.
