yeonjun went back home in a surprisingly good mood. i guess you could call it the "soobin influence."

yeonjun entered the house and was greeted by the butlers. he smiled and bowed back to them. the butlers seemed a bit shocked.

however, yeonjun's smile dropped when he saw two very familiar people sitting in the living room of his house, sipping what looked like tea with his parents.

"oh yeonjun, good your back. i was afraid we would have to make our guests much longer." said his mother, smiling sweetly.

it took yeonjun a lot of self-control to not roll his eyes.

"go on. greet your guests."

yeonjun bowed down to jihoon and wooyoung. he was so going to kill them.

"so what is the purpose of this visit?" said yeonjun, taking a seat on one of the chairs.

"right. so, my parents' own a fashion company. i think you know that." said wooyoung. yeonjun shivered. he didn't like where this was going.

"so i told my parents that i know you and we're good friends..."

good friends, my ass.

"...and they wanted a business partnership."

"okay cool. but i'm not the one in charge of business...i think you should talk to my brother." said yeonjun.

"no, my parents wanted to establish a partnership with you."

yeonjun frowned and looked at his parents who gave him a smile in return. ew.

"i'm losing track over here."

"aww c'mon yeonjun. i thought you would've joined the dots. my parents want a partnership with you. my parents own a clothing brand. what do you think?"

yeonjun's eyes widened. no. no. no, no fucking way.

yeonjun gulped. "you want me to model for your company?"

"bingo!"

"no."

his parents cleared their throat next to him. yeonjun looked at them. there was a warning look in their eyes. at that moment, he knew he had no choice. as usual.

"can i think about it?" asked yeonjun, not looking at his parents. he could feel like they were going to kill.

wooyoung nodded. "of course, it's completely your choice. just let us know by the end of today."
yeonjun nodded.

"i guess, we'll get going then. see ya later, yeonjun."

and they both left.

yeonjun shivered. now, he was left alone with his parents. yeonjun knew that the moment wooyoung proposed the offer, he had no choice but to do it. but it was just so sudden that yeonjun felt like he had to think.

"yeonjun." said his mother in an awfully quiet voice. "what was the meaning of this?"

yeonjun was scared. he didn't want to face her. she might hit him in her anger. quick, yeonjun, think of something.

"umm, of course, i was going to say yes but wouldn't it seem too eager if we said yes instantly? that would make us look desperate. that's why i told him to give me some time to think."

his mother blinked as if processing what yeonjun said. "you're right. how could i not think about that?"

his mother came closer to him and lifted her hand. yeonjun instantly flinched. she was so near that he could smell her sickly perfume.
