Chapter 9: The Storm.

(You look up as the rain starts pouring on you two and the wind picks up it's pace..)

Niall: If we try to get to the bottom we will get drenched! We have to find a shelter. Did you know that almost 13 and a half thousand people died of hypothermia in 2014?

Jay: I'll remember that for the trivia night. CAN WE RUN NOW?!

Niall: Oh yes- (He grabs your hand and you two start running)

There should be some caves nearby like the one we saw while coming up.

(You put the camera in a safe place and use the backpack as an umbrella)

Jay: Damn it's getting cold.

Niall: Careful of wet rocks, we don't want to slip.

(While the situation is pretty bad, you feel very.. safe? You both stay calm as he guides you through the mountain..

Suddenly he screams!)

Cave!

(You look where he's eyes are at..)

Jay: We have to climb a bit for it..

(Niall goes up first and you follow behind him, carefully so you don't slip.. after you both climb up you run into the cave and fall on your knees panting heavily)

I-... Am… tired… and somehow warm?

(Niall takes off his jacket)

Niall: Take.. your jacket off, we don't want it.. to seep into our skin.

Jay: Good idea.. (You remove yours as well)

Thank goodness my backpack is waterproof.

Niall: Lucky you. (You both sit leaning on the cave wall)

Jay: I think I have some dry cloth in my backpack.. (you find it and hand it to him)

Dry your head off.

Niall: Why were you carrying a cloth?

Jay: I'm always prepared for accidents. What if someone got a cut?

Niall: Valid. (He accepts it and dry's himself off as you look around the cave)

Jay: This is such a small cave.. cute. A bear shouldn't be here right?

Niall: I don't think so.. but bats are definitely sleeping inside.

(You look towards the rain and chuckle)

What's funny?

Jay: Nothing.. it's just even in this situation the rain is calming me down even though rain is the problem.

Niall: You like rains I'm assuming?

Jay: Very, you don't?

Niall: Very.

Jay: I feel like if you were an animal you would be a cat. Hmm.. Lucius the cat, it has a nice ring to it.

Niall: That's not fair, you know my middle name but I don't know yours.

Jay: River.. My dad named me River because my parents first met by a River.

Niall: Cool.. I'm gonna use that for my kids.. Imagine.. *Ahem* Peter me and your mom met in the school, we crashed into each other in the hallway as all the papers went flying, everything became slow motion.. "Dad, is that why my middle name is School Hallway?".. Yes Peter.

(You both laugh.. but your mind wonders why he used school hallway as an example)

Jay: You're gonna name your kid Peter? He's not going to get bitten by a radioactive spider if you're hoping for that.
