Chapter 56: Forgiveness.

7th February 2016, Sunday.

(You have been living with Niall for one plus month now, and things are definitely going well. A lot of the tension has disappeared..

The school is going well too, you do see Bradley here and there but you keep your distance. It's Sunday, that means Sara will be here to hang out. The day starts with Niall's apology.. again..)

Niall: I'm such a jerk-

Jay: Niall, (You stop his speech midway)

Sara will be coming soon.. so I should start cooking breakfast.

Niall: Oh- yeah sure. Is she bringing something from her dad?

Jay: I hope so. (You settle in the kitchen and prepare some eggs, and as expected Sara's bursts in.

Sara: Good Morning!

Niall: Hey Sara.

Sara: My dad sent some pasta! (She puts it on the table and sits by the kitchen island)

What are you cooking Jay?

Jay: Just some simple French Omelette. Oh! I should make some hot chocolate. Niall, pass the milk please. (He nods and open the fridge)

Niall: Oh we don't have milk.

Jay: Niall? I told you to buy some yesterday.

Niall: Sorry it must have completely slipped my mind. I'll get some! (He runs out)

Sara: You guys sound like an old married couple. (You roll your eyes)

No seriously. (She clears her throat and speaks in a deeper voice)

"Honey we have run out of milk"

"I told you to buy some yesterday!"

C'mon, tell me that's not married behavior.

(You chuckle)

Did he apologize today as well?

Jay: Yep, just before you came..

I hear him say sorry two times a day.

He tells me how sorry he is, How bad he feels for hurting me and he wants to be a better person for me.

Sara: That's a good sign though.

Jay: And kind of annoying.. like don't get me wrong. But hearing it two times each day is kind of an earworm.

Sara: Have you forgiven him?

Jay: Of course I have.

Sara: Have you though? (You look at her)

I mean, let's be real. Can you ever truly forgive him, a part of you will always be cautious. Sad. Angry..

Maybe you will in a few years. But I don't see it happening in a few days.

Jay: What are you getting at?

Sara: Does he know that you have forgiven him?

Jay: Yeah he does.

Sara: Have you said it verbally? (You sigh)

Jay you have to tell him, I know you are still angry at him and you have every right to. But if you have given him a second chance and you say that you have forgiven him internally. You gotta say it out loud, maybe he will get more inspired by your forgiveness.

Jay: Why are you suddenly my therapist?

(She chuckles)

Sara: Well, looks like it's time to switch up my career. Should I start a Youtube channel?
