Chapter 25: Locked In.

(You just realize that Lyra has locked you with Niall in the basement)

Jay: We are LOCKED! (You shake the door)

Niall: What?

Jay: Lyra has locked us inside! (Niall bangs on the door)

Niall: Can someone hear us?!

Jay: I don't think they can, hopefully a janitor comes by.

Niall: I swear when I find Lyra I'm going to kill her.

Jay: Okay we shouldn't freak out. Give me your phone.

Niall: I don't have my phone..

Jay: What?!

Niall: It got confiscated during detention, it's probably in the Principal's office.

Jay: Oh lord.

Niall: What about your phone?

Jay: At home, let's just say I forgot to charge it last night.

Niall: Oh shit- (He starts slamming the door)

Jay: Niall let's stay calm.

Niall: Being calm won't get us out of this basement. (He slams into the door again)

Oof.

Jay: Be careful. (After few more tries he sits down tiredly)

Niall: Damn. This.. door is.. strong. (He pants)

Jay: Let me try some screaming. (You prepare your lungs)

HELLO! WE ARE TRAPPED! IN THE BASEMENT! IS ANYONE THERE?! HELLO! TRAPPED! IN THE BASEMENT! WE ARE TRAPPED!

Niall: I don't think it's working. (You sit down as well)

Jay: What should we do?

Niall: All we can do is.. (he rhythmically knocks on the door) send signals while we wait. Just keep knocking..

(After about thirty minutes..

You and Niall sit by the door and continue knocking)

Jay: Do you think.. Everyone has left?

Niall: Hopefully not.. (You see the hallway light turn off from the gap beneath the door)

Jay: Oh no.

Niall: That's not a good sign.

Jay: Oh lord we are stuck. (Niall stands up)

Niall: Get away from the door. (You stand up as he starts slamming into the door again)

1.. 2.. 3! *Bang*

1.. 2.. 3! *Bang*

1.. 2..

Jay: Your shoulder is gonna break.

Niall: 3! *Bang* (You hear a sound)

Jay: Wait.. (you inspect)

Looks like the lock has unhinged a little.

Niall: Good. (He slams again and the door shakes)

Jay: We have to apply more force.. Let's do it together.

Niall: Good idea.. Ready?

Jay: Hopefully.

Niall: 1… 2..

Jay: 3! (You both slam into door)

Niall: Again.
