(The winter break is coming and before that so are the exams.. you can see all the students have been studying hard, well almost all..)

Caleb: We have a test today?!

Hannah: Are ALL high school footballers like this?

Cy: Hey, I studied. (You, The Cheer Squad and Football Squad hangout outside the school)

Hritam: I'm so excited for Christmas break! All the Snow! Hot Chocolate! Mistletoe! Winter make out sessions-

Ryan: We still have a month to it babe, calm your horses.

Ellie: And more than two months for Christmas.

Audrey: Is the school setting up a fair this year?

Aori: Uh let's ask.. HEY SIENNA! (Sienna who just parked her cycle gets startled)

Sienna: Woah- Oh hi? (She heads towards you all)

You guys didn't break something right?

Hannah: Not this time.

Aori: Is the fair happening this year?

Sienna: No, we have been getting some hefty donations, the Charity Match helped a lot as well.. And so did the photo auctions, thanks to Jay.

Sara: Wooo!

Sienna: Also Hi, long time no see.

Jay: Hey.

Audrey: Damn no fair? Now what would my horse do? He loves to lead people through the snow as couples sneakily make out in the back.

Liam: I seriously forget that you have a horse even though I have ridden it before.

Sienna: We all better head in, the school is about to start.

(Chatting you all head in)

(Later as you are working on an essay in the outdoor seating area someone comes up to you..)

Bradley: *Ahem* Hi.. (You look up)

Jay: Oh hi.

Bradley: Can we talk?

Jay: Yeah.. sure. (You close the laptop as he sits besides you)

What's up?

Bradley: I'm just here to say that if I said something weird that night.. I'm sorry, I was a little drunk.. and-

Jay: You didn't take a single sip of alcohol that day. (He sighs)

Bradley: Sorry I'm not trying to make excuses.. It's just I might have come very strong that day..

Jay: Hey it's okay.. feelings are complicated.

Bradley: Thank you, I just wanted to fix this mess before my birthday.. which doesn't come around till six weeks.. but I wanted to make sure, I want you all on my birthday. Including Niall.

Jay: Well.. consider it fixed.

Bradley: Are you sure?

Jay: Yes.

Bradley: Thank you! Hopefully we can be friends again. (He gives you a warm smile)

Anyways I better go, Don't wanna interrupt your work. Bye.

Jay: Bye.. (He walks away..

You take a deep breath and return to your essay)

*From Jay's Mom perspective*

(You are washing the dishes..

Suddenly two hands come around your waist)

Lily: George.. What are you doing?

George: Nothing.. I'm just happy. (He kisses your neck and let's you go)

Lily: Oh are you?

George: A little. (He says as he sits on the couch)

Lily: Any particular reason?

George: Maybe. Lily, come here and sit for a second.

Lily: Two minutes. (You quickly clean everything up and take a seat besides him)

What? (You ask as you wipe your hands on the apron)

George: Should we make it official..?

Lily: ..Make what official?

George: You know… Jay and Sara..?

Lily: George.. They are seventeen!

George: So what? We have been together since high school as well.

Lily: It's not that, Times change. Let them decide on their own fate..

But.. are you sure about them?

George: What do you mean?

Lily: I.. Don't.. I don't see love between them, I mean of course there is love and care.. but nothing romantic.

George: You just don't see what I see. They have known each other since kindergarten, and they are respectful enough to not act vulgar in front of us elders.

Lily: Vulgar..? George, we are not in the 1800's.

George: That's not what I meant.

Lily: Yeah sure. (He sighs)

George: I saw him leaving Sara's car the other day, he was smiling like an idiot in love.

Lily: I'm his mother, if something was there I would have seen it by now.. You're imagining.

George: And I'm his Dad, I know his feelings as well.

Lily: Do you..? (He goes silent for a few seconds)

George: What about the time I almost caught them kissing?

Lily: You always think they are kissing, I was there and they were NOT about to kiss. I don't understand why you're so obsessed with them as a couple.

George: Because I KNOW! (You silently look at him)

Lily: I want to make sure first, don't bring this up to Sara's parents. I won't let you decide their fate like my family did.. (Guilt flashes across his face)

George: Lily I'm so sorry about that-

Lily: Doesn't matter.. It was a long time ago.

What happened has happened..

But I won't let it repeat.

No matter how obsessed you are, no matter how angry it makes you.
