Chapter 30: Secret's Out.

(After what happened at the diner, you have been kinda quiet. After the school Sara has dragged you into the park to make you feel better.. but it's not really working.)

Sara: Ice cream..?

Jay: Not in the mood..

Sara: Uh.. You wanna play with the dogs?!

Jay: Can we just.. sit?

Sara: Wow you never have said no to that, let's sit.. (You two sit down on bench)

You want to talk about it?

Jay: What's there to say?

Sara: Listen.. I don't know Niall very well. But to me it feels like something is really bothering him. But it's not you.

Jay: I think I know what's bothering him, but I'm tired of being one to take the step.

(She pats your shoulders)

Sara: I have never seen you as the leader type.. but you have been leading this.. relationship? Whatever it is. I know for you it's something special.

Jay: It.. is. And maybe I should take the next step this time as well..

2nd September 2015, Wednesday.

(During the lunchtime you head towards Bradley)

Jay: Bradley? (He turns around from Kyle)

Bradley: Good afternoon Jay.

Jay: Can we talk? Alone?

Bradley: Uhh sure. I'll be back. (You drag him towards a isolated area)

What's up?

Jay: Why does Niall hate you so much?

Bradley: I..

Jay: Please.. Just tell me

Bradley: Do you really wanna hear it?

Jay: Yes.

Niall: Okay.. so. (He takes a deep breath)

The thing is.. on my birthday party in 2013, He was finding the bathroom and he stumbled upon my dad's office. My dad found him there and he was convinced that Niall robbed our house.. I didn't know Niall very well so I thought it was true as well.. My dad was a dick enough to plant some money in his bike. I just found out very recently and I had a fight about it..

Jay: So that's why he went to the juvenile?

Bradley: Unfortunately yes. I'm very ashamed of it.

Jay: That's.. horrible.

Bradley: No wonder he hates me.

Jay: Thanks for telling me..

Bradley: I hope you're not angry at me.

Jay: Maybe a little.. but you didn't know.

Bradley: I just hope I could make things right.

Jay: I.. wow. Maybe you can make things right.

Bradley: What do you mean?

Jay: Maybe start from telling everyone that his arrest was a misunderstanding?

Bradley: People don't even know, my dad did that.. but, I think I can do something. Thanks for the idea.

Jay: I hope you get forgiveness from him. I gotta talk to him.

Bradley: Good luck! (He heads back to Kyle and you find Niall, he sits alone in one of the back tables)

Jay: Niall?

Niall: Oh Jay.. I- I am so sorry about what I said yesterday, I was just.. angry and frustrated and we'll a jerk and I hope-

Jay: It's fine, I'm here for a different thing. Bradley told me everything.

Niall: He did?

Jay: Yes.. what happened was horrible and you have every right to be angry at him. I just want you to stop dragging me into this. (You sit besides him)

I care about you Niall.. but I need you to show you do too.

Niall: I understand.. what he did he exactly-

(Sara comes up to you)

Sara: Jay!

Jay: Sara I'll eat, don't worry.

Sara: It's not about that! (She shoves her phone in your face)

Jay: Woah-

Sara: Look.

Jay: What is it? (You look at the phone and see Lyra's Instagram page.. she just posted something, it says "Thank god people like these don't exist here, get a room pls" and you see a picture of you and another guy that's really close to you.. it looks you guys are almost kissing, but the other guys face is blurred.)

Niall: Who is that?

Jay: It's.. Kevin. She must have taken this pic when he was harassing me.

Sara: She has basically posted about you being gay. Almost everyone knows now..

(You look around and feel almost all eyes on you..)
