Stiles Pov:

                              10 years old

"Mummy mummy look!" I cheered trying to get myself to the maximum point on the swing. Claudia, my mother looked to my direction and smiled giving me a small nod before turning back to talk with some random kid's mum called Miss Hale?

I stretched a little and dragged my foot on the sand slowing myself down so that I could jump out of the swing.

"1..2..3!" I shrieked as I jumped off. But I didn't land on sand. I was expecting sand all over my body but I landed on something fleshy and mushy. Suddenly, I heard a small groan and looked down. There was a cute boy below me. He looked older. Like maybe 13? or 14?

"Oh my! I am so sowy" I quickly got up and offered my hand for the boy to take it. The boy hesitated for a second but grabbed my hand and I yanked him off the floor. He started dusting his clothes getting rid of all the access sand on his body.

"I am so so sorry. I didn't see you there." I apologized again. I heard another annoyed grunt in response. "Uh...my name is Stiles. How about you?" I tried again.

"Derek Hale. Pleasure to meet you." He replied with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Derek!" I heard the lady that was previously talking to mama call out.

Before the boy, Derek could leave, I grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards me. "Can we be frwens?" I asked trying to show him my puppy dog eyes. "Sure." He replied simply before running off towards his mother.

                           10 years later

Stiles Pov:

"Stiiii get the hell up!" A gruff faint voice cried out. " Stilinski omg wake up!" The voice called out again.

"STILES!"

I shot up from the bed and came face to face with the one and only Derek Hale. The same Derek Hale i met 10 years ago when I was just 10 years old and him being 15. I am proud to call him my bestfriend. We have gone through thick and thin together and I love him so much. (very homo)

"Morning sleepyhead" Derek smiled and tackled me making us land on the floor with him on top of me.

"Hi asshole." I greeted with a smirk.

We stared into each other's eyes for what seems to be like years. Silence filled the room as we got lost in each other's eyes. Derek's eyes are the most perfect emerald green with hints of hazel. It was mesmerizing. Oh and his signature hale glare made him like 10 times hotter if it was possible. 10 years ago, he was a little stick figure but now, Derek has a body of a greek god. I guess all the gym visits paid off.

"Kids. Get down for breakfast!" My dad shouted from the kitchen. Derek and I snapped back into reality and he quickly got off me.

"I'll um meet you downstairs." Derek said walking out of the bedroom. I walked towards the closet when Derek's head popped in the gap between the door and the wall. " Oh and uh wear something fancy. But not like too fancy. Something casual fancy" Derek rambled. I gave him a small smile and nodded.

I heard the door behind me click close and started changing into a black buttoned up shirt with skinny jeans and Derek's leather jacket which he lent to me last week when we were caught a movie together.

After breakfast, Derek drove us to the park where the playground that he and I met located beside it. Derek and I found an empty bench and started chatting about the past laughing occasionally.

"Do you remember when I said I'd always be there." Derek laughed at the memory.

"Ever since we were ten baby" I whispered the last word to myself.

" I was right by your side." Derek laughed.

"This playground will always hold a special place to our hearts" I smiled leaning on Derek's shoulder which he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

Now I realise you were the only one, its never to let to show you. I can only wish that Derek felt the same..

"Grow old together and the feelings we had before, when we were so innocent." Derek laughed again

I took a deep breath and looked at Derek's eyes making him look back at me. I plucked up all the courage that I had left linking our fingers together. "I pray for all your love, Der love is so unreal. I just wanna reach and touch you, squeeze you. Gosh somebody pinch me because I must be dreaming. This is something like a movie. I don't know how it end." I took another huge breath in not looking Derek in the eyes.

"I fell in love with my bestfriend." I confessed shaking my head as tear threatened to fall.

"I know it sounds crazy, that you be my baby. Sti you mean that much to me." Derek replied lifting my chin so that I would look at him

" But nothing compares when we are lighter than air and, I don't wanna come back down." Derek paused for a moment. " I don't wanna ruin what we have. Love is unpredictable. But its a risk that im taking"

"Hoping" I interrupted him. Derek smiled at me and nodded.

"Praying"

"That i'll fall in love with my bestfriend" I replied before he could continue. Derek nodded in response.

At that point, tears were streaming down my cheeks as I jumped into Dereks arms embracing him into a tight hug. Pulling away a little, I smashed our lips together bringing us into a heated and passionate kiss. Derek hands wrapped around my waist bringing me closer to him so that I was practically in his lap. My hands traveled  underneath in shirt and started tracing the outline of his hard rock abs.

We pulled away breathing heavily. " I cant believe I fell in love with my best friend" I giggled and wrapped Derek in another hug.

" I love you" Derek whispered in my ear

Smiling, I reconnected our lips and whispered " I love you too"
