Lucas hopped into his car and drove away from the abandoned building he had been using as a hide out. He looked into the rear view mirror to see smoke seep out of the windows. He smiled and floored it towards the house.
He pulled up into the driveway and walked to the door. Lucas pulled out the keys he had swiped from Emo and stuck the one labeled 'home' into the lock.
"Emo! Your home!" Orion shouted as be tackled Lucas in a hug as soon as he walked into the door. Lucas looked at the top of the teens head in disgust but forced a smile as the boy looked up at the shapeshifter.
"I was so worried." Orion whispered.
Most people would have broken at the tone of the boys voice but Lucas was no person. He was a wall. A wall made of pure hatred and jealousy.
"Why don't you go get ready for bed?" Lucas said in the kindest, most caring voice he could manage. It made him sick.
"O-ok." Orion said before turning and sprinting up the stairs. Lucas kept his smile until he heard the sound of Orion's door slam shut. Once he heard it his smile disappeared so fast you wouldn't have believed it existed if you hadn't seen it.
He made his way to the kitchen and opened various drawers until he found the largest knife he could find. He made his way out of the kitchen and shape shifted the knife to look like a toothbrush.
"Better safe then sorry." Lucas whispered looking the 'toothbrush' over.
He sat in the living room and waited a couple hours to make sure Orion had fallen asleep. He stalked his way upstairs and peeked into Orion's room through the crack in the door.
He slipped in after seeing the soft rise and fall of a sleeping form. He walked to the side of the bed and moved the knife over his head. In one swift move he ripped the covers off the sleeping boy and brought the knife down as hard and fast as he could. Orion gasped and wheezed and struggled but was no match for the older man. He laid staring at the knife in his stomach. Lucas changed to his true form and stared down at the boy. Orion took his last breath and his eyes slid shut. Lucas turned and walked towards the door satisfied with his work ignoring the old book he walked past which glowed a light orange."BWHAHAHA!"
Lucas froze and slowly turned around. Orion sat up in the bed with the knife still protruding from his stomach. He turned and looked Lucas dead in the eyes.
"Cute." Orion said before turning into black smoke and fading into nothing.
Lucas stood wide eyed.
He felt something tap his left shoulder causing him to whip around.
Nothing.
Again but something tapped his right shoulder this time.
"Where are you!" he yelled.
"You think you can kill me that easily?" said a echoey voice followed by children laughing from all directions. Lucas's world spun quickly.
The laughter getting higher and higher until it was a constant screeching noise. He dropped to his knees and covered his ears.
"S-STOP IT!" He yelled feeling his eardrums shake.
It all got it even louder before turning completely silent.
"Get out of my house." Emo's voice whispered in his head. His shot open to find he was outside....on a road....in the middle of no where.
"RrrrrrrAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!! DAMN YOU MAJOOOOORRRR!" Lucas roared to the heavens.
