Chp 14.

Orion's POV
"Emo! Orion! Run!"
"Emoooooo!"
Beeeeeeeeeepppp!
I sat up with a gasp. I was panting and sweating as if I had just ran a marathon.
"Ry?" I heard Emo ask from the bed next to mine.
"You alright?"
"Y..yeah." I said shakily.
"You sure?"
"Yes!" I hissed.
"Alright. Jeez. I was just checking." he muttered as he rolled back over.
I waited a few seconds before speaking.
"Sorry." I whispered.
"It's alright." I heard him reply.
We both went back to sleep after that and i didn't have any more nightmares for the rest of the night.

Emo's POV

At 8:30 we were woken up by Emily and given our breakfast. Today she wore sweat pants and a t-shirt since it was her day off and she was taking us to our old house. In the few days we have spent with her we all have become good friends.
"So do you boys still remember your old address?" Emily asked as she took a sip of her coffee.
"Orion does." I said as I took a bite of some bacon. Emily and I turned our heads towards Orion who was currently ignoring us and shoveling eggs, hash browns and bacon all into his mouth at once. He stopped and looked up at us with his cheeks full causing him to look like a chipmunk.
We both burst into laughter causing Orion's chipmunk cheeks to redden. He swallowed the food and Emily and I calmed down a little.
"So do you know it?" I ask.
"Yeah." he replied cheeks still slightly red.
"Alright. You two ready?" Emily asked.
We both nodded.
"Alright then lets head out." She said.
Orion grabbed the book and tucked the rings into his pocket then we headed out to the parking lot.
I sat shotgun and Orion was in the backseat of Emily's mint-green buggy. Once Orion put the address into Emily's
GPS we were on our way.
"You guys want to listen to some music?" Emily asked.
"Sure!" Orion said eagerly.
She turned on the radio and some song that I have never heard came on. Emily started singing along to it.
I looked at the radio and on the screen it read:
Taylor Swift- Shake it Off
"Who's Taylor Swift?" I ask. As soon as I said that images flashed in front of my eyes of a blonde headed girl with a guitar and red lipstick. Every single bit of information on this girl was implanted in my brain.
I cried out in pain and gripped at my head.
"Emo!?" I heard Emily and Orion say at the same time. The pain and images disappeared as quickly as they came and the information about this Taylor Swift girl soon faded away as well.
"You alright?" Emily asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just a brief headache." I said panting.
I saw something shine in the backseat.
I turned around to see Orion sit on the book. It glowed silver.
"What's that?" Emily asked looking into the rearview mirror to look at Orion. The book instantly stopped glowing.
"It's a book I brought with me." He said
"Was it glowing?" She said.
"No, thats ridiculous. it's probably reflecting some sunlight." I said nervously.
"Hmm..alright." She said suspiciously before become cheery again when some song came on. I looked at the radio again and the screen read One Direction. I turned and looked back at Orion and he gave me a look that screamed 'that was a close one'.

Next chp. they will be at their house and what happened inside the book that made it glow.
