Orion's POV
Emo explained everything that happened from after I ran out of the room in the house we also knew as Hell to when he woke up in the surgery room after being dead.
"So you really talked to mom and dad?" I ask
"Yes." he said sounding the most serious an sure that I've ever heard.
"So we're representing what again?" I ask
"The human soul and heart."he said
"Ok and where did the book and little things dad gave you go?"
His eyes,or eye at the moment, widened. He threw off his covers and lept out of his bed. Nearly tripping on the way, he ran out the door and down the hall. I stayed on his tail the whole way calling his name and apologizing to patients and nurses he had bumped into. He turned a corner and disappeared out of sight into an open doorway.
"Emo! Where are you go-" i said but cut myself off when I saw him remerge from the room he disappeared into. He held a book under his arm and was playing with two rings in his hand.
"Who's are those?"
I said pointing to his hand. He looked up at me and his eye was red and teary. He handed one of them to me. I inspected it and gasped when I figured who's it was.
"Mom's wedding ring." I whispered. Emo only nodded his head.
"How did you know they were in here?" I ask looking into the open doorway to the room Emo ran in.
"I don't know?"
He said.

Emo's POV
So their wedding rings were the objects dad put on the book before I passed out. I fiddled with my dad's ring that sat in nicely my hand.
"It yelled directions in my head." I said to Orion.
"What do you mean by 'It'?"
He replied.
"The book. It yelled things like 'left' and 'right' in my head. I guess by mentioning the book it woke up."
Orion hummed in thought.
"So what's in the book?" He asked
"I don't know I haven't opened it." i said putting dads ring in Orion's hand and pulling the book from under my arm. I looked at the cover and opened it.
"What's it say?" Orion asked.
"It...its..." I stutter.
"Yeah. Yeah!" he said like an impatient 5 year old.
"Blank."
"Say what?"
"Yeah there's nothing in it."
"It's supposed to be a magic book. How is it blank! Give me it."
I handed Orion the book.
"What the." He said
He hummed in thought again. He looked up and stared at me with eyes full of fear.
"Emo your eye." Orion said.
"What about it?"
"It's changing color."
I ran into the room we stood next to and looked in a nearby metal cabinet and looked at my reflection. My eye turned the same color as the cabinet. It became a reflective silverish color.
I felt a sharp pain shoot through my entire body.
My vision blurred and I felt myself wobble.
"D..damn...it." is all I said before I fell.
"EMILY!" I heard Orion yell before everything went black........again.
