Emily and Orion quickly left the mall after that not wanting to be questioned. They ran to the car and sped away.
Orion's POV
I sat in the passengers seat of the car and held my cheek that still stung a little.
"Where do you think your brother disappeared to." Emily said.
"That's not my brother." I muttered.
Emily swerved the car to the side of the road and stopped.
"Hey! That's the worst thing you could say about him after all the things he's done for you! All that he has sacrificed for you!"
I just stared at her. I let all the information soak in before dropping my head in shame.
"Your right. We have to-"
"What's wrong?" she asked worried.
"I know...were he is."
-------------------------------
We pulled up to an alley in a town an hour away from the mall.
"You sure this is it?" Emily asked.
"Positive. He sent me this exact address."
I got out of the car and ran into the alley.
"Orion! Wait!" Emily yelled after me.
I looked around for any sign of Emo.
A hand suddenly covered my mouth and pulled me back.
"Shh it's alright little one." I raspy voice said.
I struggled trying to escape but failed since the man was stronger then me.
"Let him go!" said a familiar voice.
The shadowy figure stood in front of us.
The man instantly let go and I took off running towards the opening of the alley.
I reached Emily's car and grabbed onto her for dear life.
"Sweetie what happened?"
I was going to tell her but shut my mouth when a bloodcurdling scream pierced the air followed by the sounds of tearing flesh and snapping bones. Emily pushed me behind her as a figure walked out of the shadows with it's head hung. It wore a black t-shirt and dark jeans. My eyes widened when I saw that it was covered in blood. It looked up and had tears in its silver eyes.
"Orion." He said in a normal voice. I let go of Emily and ran towards my brother, wrapping my arms around his waist. He let out a watery chuckle and returned my hug.
---------------------------------
We got home and Emo ran upstairs to get cleaned up.
When he came back down Emily sat us down to have a talk.
"Boys after that fiasco I don't believe Emo will be able to go out in public without getting arrested." She said seriously.
"I have that covered." Emo said.
He closed his eyes tightly. After a few seconds he opened them again.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Emily will you please describe my face?" Emo asked.
"Sure? You have..um..blue...green..no... blue eyes and um" She said unsure
"What did you do?" I asked.
"It's a mind manipulating trick I learned while trying out my powers earlier." he said.
"Will I be able to do it?" I ask.
"I think with some of my help then yes." He said.
"So that problem's solved." Emily said crossing her arms over her chest and leaning back in her chair.
"Also something else happened." He proceeded to pull off his shirt and turn towards us.
"Emo Major! How did you get a tattoo!" Emily yelled.
Across Emo's upper back it read 'SOUL' in cursive letters.
"Actually I gave it to myself some how. I put my hand on my back and then it started to hurt for no reason till I found a mirror in the alley and saw this." He said.
"Can I have one!" I said excitedly.
"When your older." Emo said.
I huffed and threw my arms over my chest trying make Emo laugh like I always did but all he did was narrow his eyes at me, pull his shirt back on, and walk away.
"Lets go out for dinner shall we." Emily asked.
Emo nodded and walked towards the door.
I gave Emily a worried look and she just shrugged back at me as we walked out the door to the car where Emo was waiting.
