"DO NOT!" came a yell that alerted the few people that had set foot into the classroom.

A loud snort resonated in front of the angry figure who's face had turned fifty shades of crimson.

"Do too! Me and Joong were just casually walking by your dorm when we heard it... didn't realize you were the bottom Min..." As if that was his breaking point the red haired boy flung himself onto the others that continued to laugh at his embarrassment.

"Mingi, I highly doubt starting a fight will cause your troubles to cease, am I right?" Came the deep voice that walked in, "I would advise you to settle down, or else I'll have no choice but to report you to Mr. Jeong."

"Sorry sir.." The boy spat, sitting quietly in his seat, lightly slapping the boy to his right who seemed to have a hard time controlling his giggles.

Mr. Jeon. The English professor who had single handedly saved the literature department a couple of years ago was now one of the most famous professors on campus.

Though his looks along with his charm could have a part of that as well... He broke many hearts when he announced that his ring on his finger was not just for looks but symbolized a happy marriage.

The man looked over as he noticed a new flock of unranked freshman entering his class, and not surprising at all being mesmerized by the group in the back.

Of course they would be, Obsidian's were that of a mystery, one that everyone seemed to want to solve.

Mr. Jeon signaled to the class president of Emerald, nudging his head in the freshman's direction, the boy instantly walking over.

The students all settled in, empty spaces cluttered the room as people tended to gravitate towards their flock of friends and fellow ranked classmates.

But he did seem to miss a pair of cold and dark eyes that made their usual appearance before class even started.

"Mr. Park!" He called out, the boy in the back looked up, tongue gliding over his cherry red lips.

"Where is Mr. Choi? Decided not to see you all off today?" The man asked, a slight snicker behind his voice.

"I guess you just bore him too much Taehyung.." The room gasped as the boy called his teacher by his first name, the disrespect not fazing the man in the slightest, he couldn't help but have a soft spot for the boys in the back, reminded him a little too much of his own husband at their age.

Wooyoung couldn't help but look back, accidentally making eye contact with one of the boys as he winked, immediately making the boy turn back around, not daring the look back again.

Felix was once again scolding Jisung for making inappropriate comments while Wooyoung quietly smiled behind them, wondering if this is what it meant to have friends.

The group had made it to the cafeteria, all starving after their first day of classes and was beyond ready to fill their stomachs up and not worry about anything else other than a possible stomach ache.

That is until the blonde caught the sight of the boy from class, the one in rank Emerald, he was talking seriously too his friend before he noticed the boy staring.

Wooyoung nervously turned around after noticing the boy making his way over, it wasn't his intention at all, was just a little curious.

"How was your first day?" He asked as he came up and sat beside Wooyoung, the boy shying away from the bright smile he was offered.

"Was okay, just wasn't ready for that many lectures you know... pretty sure my brains fried." Jisung spoke up, taking a bite out of his rice.

"What about you?" The question was directed at Wooyoung, the boy looking up for only a second before turning his attention back to his food as if it was the most entertaining item in the room.

"What he said.." Came the quiet voice.

The boy to his left smiled at the cute reaction before turning back to the others, "My name's Yeonjun, please if you have any questions about school, Emerald, or.." he took a glance at the blonde who was still sporting a vibrant blush, "anything at all, let me know."

As he was about to get up, a hand grabbed his wrist, one that belonged to Jisung who looked to the boy with shimmering eyes, "Wait!"

Yeonjun sat back down, eyes slightly widened by the gesture, but settled in none the less.

"Can you uh.." he looked to the others before leaning in, voice going to a whisper, "can you tell us about Obsidian?"

Yeonjun seemed surprised at first before he leaned in as well, his once glowing face falling dull as he looked around, the others joining as their curiosities got the best of them.

"Remember when I said that you can't choose them, they choose you?" The boys nodded in response.

"Its not that they even necessarily choose you... in all reality, they own you."
