"(Y/N)! Where were you!?" A worried Barbara asked as she rushed towards her friend to help her.

"I-I did it..." (Y/N) coughed and collapsed on the floor, she was carefully holding up a box, wanting Barbara to take it before she dropped it due to her tiredness.

"What is this?" The young girl took the box and opened it to find a beautiful red cake. "Where did you get this? Never mind! First, I have to heal your injuries before the party. Also, Bennett has been looking for you the whole day, and we don't want him to get worried, do we?"

           The girl was covered in dust and had a burn on her left arm that looked like it had already been treated, but she didn't have that burn when she left Mondstadt in search of the perfect cake for her best friend Bennett. She endured blistering winds and scorching deserts, she climbed the highest bloody mountain of Liyue and beat up the bloody pyro regisvine to get the ingredients to make a cake like no other. Xiangling herself was the one who made the recipe and baked the cake.

           This was supposed to be a surprise, so she decided not to tell Bennett that she was going on an adventure. (Y/N) just disappeared, leaving Barbara in charge of making up an excuse in case he asked for her. Of course, her absence didn't go unnoticed by the young boy. He went looking for her several times at her house and in other places and everyone told him that she went on an adventure to reflect on life. Bennett was a little hurt to hear that she had gone on an adventure without him, but he fully understood that people might need time alone for themselves. However, he hoped that he would return to spend her birthday together with her, he could not help but be discouraged by not hearing from her in the morning.

"Good evening! Sorry we're late."

"Oh! Barbara and (Y/N)! Come in, come in. Bennett is in the living room. I'm glad to see you again, (Y/N)."

"It's good to be back." The girl smiled and went to the living room with Barbara.

           Bennett was chatting with Razor when Barbara interrupted them with a greeting, the one with the pyro vision was going to greet her back when he looked at the girl who was standing behind her.

"You came!"

           Bennett ran towards (Y/N) with the intention of giving her a hug, but the blonde stopped him.

"Wait! You don't want to ruin your surprise, do you?"

"Surprise? What surprise?"

"Ta-ra! The reason for my trip was to bring you this." (Y/N) gave him the box with the cake and he admired it.

"W-Woah! It looks amazing. I've never seen a cake like this, where did you get it?"

"Sit down, I'll tell you about everything I've been doing this week that I was absent."

"Sure!" Bennett smiled. "But first..."

           The boy left the cake on the table in the center of the room, then he went back to his best friend with open arms to give her a big hug which was lovingly accepted by the girl.

"I missed you a lot."

           All Bennett wanted for his birthday was to spend that day with his loved ones, and (Y/N) was one of the most important people in his life.
