I watched Alec as he sat on the floor reading a book that he seemed to have found much more interesting then he found me.

"Sweet pea, come sit beside me." I said patting the seat.

No answer.

I cleared my throat loudly.

"Sweet pea, come sit with me." I repeated.

Still no answer.

"Excuse me are you ignoring me?" I asked sounding stunned.

" Magnus, who are you talking to? " Alec asked me.

"Sweet pea, I don't know wh-"

" I don't know a sweet pea. " Alec told me.

"Okey, okey, you could have just said that you didn't like sweet pea." I told him.

" I did. " Alec told me. "Yesterday and the day before that and the day before that."

"Well, what about baboo?"

" definitely not. "

"Darling?"

" No. "

"Precious?"

" Never. "

I named a lot more nicknames including:hun, sugar, sweet pie, babi, babe, sweet stuff, and tiger. but Alec said no to all of them.

"Fine no nickname for you." I said dramatically and crossed my arms.

" Good. " Alec replied.

"Alexander, why must you be like this why can't you just let me give you a nickname?" Magnus asked.

" Because I don't like them. "

"Well I don't like that book it gets more attention then me."

" fine, you can call me darling. "

"Well why not sweet pea?"

"Just call me whatever you like."

" okey precious. " I said with a smile.

Alec rolled his eyes.
