This story is before Magnus and Alec met.

Magnus sitting on his sofa and was doing something he knew he probably shouldn't be, he was looking at posts made by couples on Instagram.

My valentine.

I still think about the first time we met.

It wasn't Valentines day for another week  and already these perfect little couples were already making Magnus feel alone.

Magnus didn't have anybody to share his Valentines day with which is mainly why he felt alone and was getting angry over the pictures.

Magnus leaned back and sighed, even Catarina had a Valentine so she wasn't coming over to Magnus's loft to be alone together.

Magnus hated being alone alone, he much preferred to be alone with somebody.

Maybe Ragnor would want to come over Magnus thought.

Magnus sent a fire message to Ragnor because Ragnor was in Alicante Magnus couldn't text him.

Hello, my dearest Ragnor
Would you like to come over on Valentines day so we can party and I won't have to feel alone.
Love your friend Magnus the
amazing bane.

After a moment or two Magnus got a fire message back.

Magnus I actually have a date for valentines day so I am ever so sorry but you can be alone this valentines day.

Magnus frowned, he didn't want to be alone this year he's been alone every year for the past sixty years.

Magnus realised that he was hungry and was craving chocolate.

"You know what?" Magnus said aloud. "I'm going to buy myself a valentines day gift because a damn well can."

Magnus stood up and opened a portal, to the mall.

Magnus walked through the portal and looked up at the large mall.

He walked inside looking at all the heart balloons and paintings and colourful decorations.

He decided that the malls target would have the best chocolates.

Magnus looked around and found a heart shaped box of chocolates he also decided that the white box with the purple ribben looked like it had nice chocolates.

Magnus enjoyed walking around target he always had, he found a nice looking fridge and now he was arguing with himself on whether he should get it or not.

But look at the colour it's buetiful.

Magnus, it's a fridge, plus we already have one.

But are fridge is a heap of junk.

This- its- fine we'll get it.

Magnus smiled at himself, it was a nice fridge a bit expensive but nice.

After a while an employee walked over to help him out.
