Alec looked down at the letter he got from the Clave and was surprised to read what it said. He knew it would be hard to tell Magnus, but it had to be done.

Alec walked into the living room where he saw Magnus making some kind of potion. Alec wasn't sure what it was, it was probably for a client. "Hey, Mags." Alec said nervously. "Mags?" Magnus asked looking up at Alec with a confused face, he knew Alec hated nicknames. "Yeah, I thought is try it out, but it doesn't sound right." Alec told him and Magnus chuckled looking back down at the potions.

"So there's some wirrd stuff going on in Peru." Alec told him and Magnus frowned. "Damn I loved Peru." Magnus told him without looking up from the potion he was making.

"Yeah, but the thing is they want me to go and investigate." Alec said scratching the back of his head nervously. Magnus looked up at him. "How long? A week? Two? A month?" Magnus asked knowing all to well that he wasn't allowed in Peru.

"Magnus." Alec said calmingly putting his hand to Magmus' cheek. "they don't know how long, and I won't go if you don't wasn't me to, it's just Jace and Clary, Iz and Simon are going." Alec explained. "No, no, no, you shouldn't have yo stay behind just because I want you to." Magnus told him putting on his fake smile. Truth was Alec did know of he wanted to go or not. Going would mean spending time with his siblings, and scoring extra points with the Clave, but it would also mean, leaning his cat eyed, clingy boyfriend behind, for god knows how long.

"Thank you." Alec told him with a warm smile.

The nact morning Alec woke up with his bags already packed. 'Magnus' he thought smiling.

Alec got out of bed and walked onto the living room where Magnus was reading. "Are you ready to go m'dear." Magnus asked standing up. "No." Alec replied and Magnus raised an eyebrow.

"Magnus, for all I know they could send me to Peru for a year, I would give up the world for you, so, giving up going to Peru with my siblings can't be too bad." Alec said and Magnus hugged him tightly.

"Thank you." He whispered into Alecs ear. "I had a whole speach planned on why you shouldn't leave, but now I don't have to beg you to stay." Magnus added making Alec laugh.

OK I know this one is really short, but i couldn't think of anything else, so please if you have any requests I'll do them.
