"I think Jerry definitely fits him," Kacin stated hugging him.

"Jerry it is," Zayn laughed.

Melissa looked sort of pissed to say the least. She had a blank stare on her face and looked like she was delusional for a moment.

"Melissa, are you alright?"

"Fine. I've been working double shifts at the hospital. Probably just sleep deprivation."

"You know that I could watch Kacin instead of you putting him in that hospital daycare," I offered.

"That would be great, you just need to be home," she gave me a stern look.

Don't blame me, blame my friends who love to hang out with me.

"I will, don't worry. If I'm not, I will tell you beforehand."

Zayn said kissed me and wished my family goodbye.

"I can't believe you named that poor dog, Jerry, out of all names," Melissa laughed. "I also can't believe you got a male dog. He marks his territory!"

"I love boy dogs," Kacin said eating his chicken sandwich.

"I didn't realize that until we decided to take him home. I also got some pee pads so it's not that big of a deal," I said. It really wasn't and he was potty trained.

Jerry had made himself comfortable in the living room, he laid on his big doggy bed watching us eat. The family decided we would let him have food and water whenever, except at night, so we wouldn't have to wake up and take him out at 3 in the morning and waste valuable sleep time.

Kacin, Melissa, and I looked online to find out what we had to do to ensure this dog was properly trained growing up. There wasn't much but repetitive 'getting a dog trainer,' but we didn't have the time for that.

Melissa, being the head pediatrician, we were not in need of money. We were well off, living in Queens, but there was not enough time. I got home at 3:30 and Kacin got home at 4:00. Melissa was now working double-shifts due to loss of staff at the Hospital, so she was hardly ever home except on weekends.

The next day at school Tennis was fun; I got promoted to Varsity Tennis.

"Would you like your Letterman to come in about a week if you do fittings after school?" Coach Logan asked.

Was that even a question? Of course I wanted my Letterman now.

"Sure, I will come after school. How did you know I would get it if I wasn't even on Varsity until this morning?"

"I figured you would want it next week, it's going to be cold, and I've known I wanted to move you up for about a month, but this practice you really stepped up."

He dismissed us to our next class and everything was boring. Next year I would intern somewhere and I wasn't completely sure yet. I needed to know by the summer and technically next month, but I still wasn't sure.

"Do you know where you're going to intern next year?" Zayn asked.

"No, I have a few offers but they're not the best," I sighed.

Zayn and I had Algebra 2 together.

"You know what business is the best? Malik Inc."

"I know your family business is, but wouldn't that be awkward?"

"Oh darling, it would be great," Zayn laughed.

We were just taking notes and it's normally very boring considering I know most of what our teacher is talking about. I was just confused as to when this would actually apply to our lives. Unless you wanted to be a famous mathematician, you would never use this.

There are also handy things called calculators.

"How was Jerry?"

"He actually slept very well. He got up at about 6 in the morning to run around in our backyard, but he was great. Thank you."

After Algebra 2 I had lunch and then Yearbook. Next was Business firm and then I had English last. Normally my English teacher would let us out early unless there was something she had to tell us, about an upcoming test or presentation.

Harry and I sat together and we would always ride home together. Harry waited for me to get done at my Letterman fitting and the lady was extremely nice.

"You are so tiny," she joked.

I got in the car with Harry and we blasted Ed Sheeran.

"Thanks for the ride, Harry."

"You're welcome, one of these days I'll let you drive us to and from school," he laughed.

I opened the door and Jerry ran from his doggy bed and jumped on top of me.

"Aw Jerry," I lightly tapped his head.

I let him in the backyard to do his thing and went upstairs to lay out my homework. Lately I had been focusing on school work because although my grades were good, I wanted them better. I had 5 A's, which was awesome, but I had 3 low B's and I didn't want them to turn into C's.

I studied for my Algebra 2 test and got online to Twitter. Pretty much my Twitter consisted of girls complaining about their fabulous lives and their periods. There was something interesting that I saw it read, Sam Smith concert.

I loved Sam Smith and decided to click the link and read more.

New York City: 6/19/15 $149.00 per ticket -GA seating

Sam Smith and George Ezra

I loaded Youtube and typed in George Ezra. I listened to one of his songs and he was actually pretty good. Compared to Sam Smith, he wasn't that great, but he was good.

I texted each of our 'squad' individually and told them about the concert. It would be expensive, but totally worth it. What I had learned about them as a whole was that we all loved the same music. Zayn was obsessed with Naughty Boy and I read that they would be there as well.

Zayn: I am so in.

Niall: That sounds awesome!

Louis: I LOVE SAM SMITH LET'S GO.

Harry: Sam Smith is a lovely lad, I'm in.

Finley: Sounds fun!

Liam: I love Sam Smith :) I think you guys should meet my new girlfriend, Sophia. x

I added everyone into a group chat so we could discuss this.

Harry: It's going to be expensive though.

Louis: Luckily I will be paying for Harry's ticket ;)

Belle: I don't expect anyone to pay for my ticket.

Louis: Not even your boyfriend?

Belle: He bought my family a dog.

Then it dawned on me that Zayn might not have told them he gave my family a dog. I knew that Zayn could afford two tickets, but so could I. Trisha was a doctor and Mark was a business owner.

Kacin came home at 4:00 and played with Jerry.

"Kacin, do you have any homework?" I asked starting the water for pasta.

"Yes, but I will do it later."

"K, I think you should really start on it now, it's already like 6:00."

"Now you sound like mom," he joked.

It was simple addition and subtraction, I remember when the simplest of problems were so hard for me to solve. Melissa got home at 7:00 when dinner was ready.

"Smells lovely, I will go get changed and wash up and be down in 10."

We ate dinner together and I brought up the concert tickets.

"They are $149.00 but I figure the money I got from the daycare and babysitting, I could afford it."

"That sounds like a great idea, you just need to save for four months."
