The next two days were just as perfect as the previous. He hugged me every single day before and after class and after Tennis practice. I gave his jacket back because I figured he did need it. I came home from a nice Friday at school to find that all 3 of my other family members were actually home.
"Hi Belle, how was your day at school?" Melissa asked setting a bowl of grapes on the counter.
"It was good, how was your day at work?"
"It was actually good and I received a raise!" She said excitedly. "As did Trisha, Zayn's mom, and they are coming over for dinner in a few hours, so I need this house spotless."
Of course. Zayn was coming over to my house. My mom always does this. She has little get-togethers with her co-workers and invites their kids over as well to either play with Kacin or hang out with me. It never goes as planned; something always goes wrong.
Obviously tonight I was praying that nothing went wrong at this dinner. Anything bad could definitely make me a turn off for him, and that was not something I wanted to happen. In this short time I had known Zayn, he became a really good friend.
I ran upstairs to change into something comfortable, but also presentable. I decide to wear black leggings, a pink short sleeve shirt, grey cardigan, and fuzzy white socks. I got on the computer and scrolled through Twitter a bit before it was time for them to arrive.
The doorbell rang and I knew it was time. I logged out of everything and turned the computer off before entering the kitchen to greet his family.
"Trisha," my mom joyfully said and they hugged. I saw Zayn emerge from behind his mom and he looked as gorgeous as ever. He had changed too. He was wearing a white t-shirt underneath a blue flannel, dark jeans, and black vans. He looked possibly more lovely than at school. His hair was no longer up but it was swept across his face in a new hairstyle and he looked God-like.
"Hi," he breathed and smiled at me.
"Hi Zayn," I smiled back trying to not stare at his perfection.
"This is my crazy family," he laughed and pointed to his parents and siblings. Unlike me, Zayn had a lot more siblings than I did and he was the youngest out of them. I am surprised that they all cane because he did mention that a few of them were off to College.
We all ate and between bites, we had a short conversation. Zayn and I never talked to each other during dinner. I'm not sure why, but nothing was ever brought up, except Zayn's mom asking about us.
"So, Zayn, do you know Belle from school?" Trisha asked politely.
"I do," he said shortly.
"Are you two friends?"
"Something like that," Zayn said and looked my way. Of course now, everyone's eyes were on me, as if I had something to add to that. I just nodded and smiled at everyone.
All of Zayn's family, except Zayn left after they helped us clean up but Zayn stayed.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"We don't have school tomorrow," I say confused.
"My mom told me you were going to the Hospital tomorrow." Zayn said also confused.
"I guess I am now," I shrugged and walked Zayn out the door.
"I actually had a really nice time, and your mom seems to like me," he smiled and hugged me.
When a boy that you want to date hugs you, that's pretty much all you expect because you can never tell if he has feelings for you, or not.
Zayn bent down and kissed my cheek, making me feel very flustered inside.
