At school, the whole week, Zayn was avoiding me. I wasn't sure why, but he was. I was sure that he and that girl defintiely were a thing and I was just his side girl. It made me sort of upset whenever I would see him in the hallway rushing to class because we all know that he hated school.

I had texted him a few times as well, but it wasn't enough to make him ignore me. On top of that he was mad at Kayla for talking behind his back and it just made me mad. Chemistry and Physics classes had to share the Computer lab that day and it just so happened that Zayn was in that class too.

Sadly he decided to sit on the opposite side of the computers as me. I was done with the work and our teacher told us that when we are done we could do anything except get on our phones. I decided to chat with Zayn, who was also the first done with his Physics work, using the school's chat service.

B: Hey

Z: Hi

B: What's wrong?

Z: Can we not talk about that on here... You know they monitor our conversations.

B: Well we can't get on our phones.

Z: Email me then.

Zayn gave me his email and he told me it was strictly for business purposes but this was important.

ZMMerg@HerbEnterprises.com: Why would you think something is wrong?

BelleEvans229@gmail.com: Because Kayla told me that you were mad at her. So I want to know what is wrong?

ZMMerg@HerbEnterprises.com: My problem is you. I wish you would just leave me alone and not be so obsessed with me.

I logged out of my email and turned my computer off. The rest of the class was for the most part, awkward and quiet. The next day we of course had Tennis together but I just sat with Harry and Danielle. It was the last day of school before Thanksgiving break and then we had two weeks and then Winter break.

The rest of the day flew by quickly and going home was better than staying at the school.

I just laid in a wallow of sadness and tried to pick myself up. I had never cried over a boy and I tried really hard not to cry over Zayn.

A week passed by, then two weeks, entering the third week, it was the last day of our Winter finals. Our class had to go to the Natatorium because Mrs. Goodell's husband was the swim coach and he got injured. When we got there it turned out that it wasn't that big of a deal.

We all just chatted and I had a bunch of friends on the Swim team.

"Happy holidays, kids," Mrs. Goodell said dismissing us.

Harry and I walked to his car and I heard someone calling my name very faintly. When I turned around, I saw Zayn chasing after me. I would love to hear what he wants to tell me, but I would rather it wait until Christmas, because our families are going to celebrate it together.

I shake my head at Harry and get in the car. I tell Harry to drive off and he does, leaving Zayn behind.

"Are you sure you wanted to do that?" Harry asked as we approached my house.

"Yes, if he has anything to say, he can say it at Christmas," I shook my head. "Thank you for the ride, Harry."

"Anytime." He replied when I got out of the car.

When I got inside the house, no one was there, which was quite the usual. I got a note from mom that read,

Belle,
