From Louis: What are you doing in this very moment? x
To Louis: Nothing... Why?
From Louis: Can I come over?
To Louis: Sure.
In ten minutes, Louis knocked on my door and stormed in. He was wearing glasses, I didn't even know he could rock glasses.
"What's wrong?" I asked while I made him and myself some tea.
"I'm wearing glasses," he sighed.
"And?"
I gave him his cup and we sat on the kitchen counters across from each other. He sat next to the barstools (which were perfectly fine to sit on, we just didn't feel the need to) and I sat next to the refrigerator.
"I'm wearing glasses because my last contact fell in the sink. I woke up in some Frat guy's bed, not next to Harry. I have been a mess because I remember every detail of Harry leaving, but nothing I can recollect from last night," he sighed.
"And you're wearing glasses."
"And I'm wearing glasses," he repeated.
"Well, you could be dead."
"What I'm going through is literally death, Belle Evans."
"Alright, alright. Enough of your drama... I say we should eat lunch somewhere because I'm hungry. Maybe I could invite Harry and you two could talk it out?" I suggested.
"I really feel horrible about this whole situation and I want to make it up to both of you."
So I called Harry. He told me he didn't want to see Louis but when I mentioned he was wearing his glasses, he agreed to come.
What's so horrible about Louis in glasses?
I drove Louis to the restaurant we were eating at. It was a small Italian restaurant literally on the corner of New York City.
"Harry." I greeted him with a lovely hug and Louis did the same.
The lunch was less-awkward than I thought, and Louis told the story of how he got in bed with a Frat member.
"Of course I wouldn't do that if I was ever in that Fraternity. Their beer tastes like shit," he laughed and that comment made Harry crack a smile.
"Their vodka is horrible too. I found out that's what I was drinking last night."
"Yes Belle, your drink wasn't spiked at it. You're an amusing light-weight when it comes to vodka. The more you know!"
"I forgive you, Louis. We need to buy that apartment or house asap, and we haven't even told the others!" Harry looked at me.
"You guys found a house?" I gasped.
"It's within our price range! It has one and a half bath, two bedrooms, a medium-sized backyard, and an open floor plan," Harry smiled at Louis. "It's perfect."
"Plus it's close to where every one lives."
"I say you guys should get the house."
"I'm all for it," Harry smiled.
They seemed genuinely happy and I was happy for my best friend, Harry.
"Have you talked to Zayn at all?" Louis interrupted the cute moment.
"Not at all. But he sent me this." I showed them the text and their mouths dropped.
"I haven't even known Zayn that long but wow, that's deep."
"I've known Zayn most of my life and shit, he's never been that way with a girl before," Louis smiled all giddy.
"Well that's great, but I miss him and wish he would come home sooner."
After the brunch thing we had, it was time for us to go back home. Harry and Louis rode together and I drove home.
"Hello Belle," Paul greeted when I walked through the front door. He might as well live here, I think he's here more often than I am.
"Good afternoon Paul, where's Melissa?"
"She's in the shower right now. I'm surprised you're home."
What is that supposed to mean?
"Um, I don't understand..."
"I mean, you're always out with your boyfriend. It just seemed like a typical Sunday night without you ever home. Mom worries about you."
"For the last time, Melissa is not my mother, nor will she ever be," I sighed and went upstairs.
I had enough of Paul telling me what to do and treating me like a baby. I was almost seventeen and I was about to graduate High School.
I felt like Louis wearing glasses when Zayn wasn't around. Louis felt like the whole world was ending because he was wearing glasses, and that was me without Zayn. Tomorrow I'd be in the office without Mark and Zayn, which would be interesting.
From Louis: Guess what?
To Louis: What?
From Louis: The whole day has turned around for me, and I'm wearing glasses.
To Louis: And you're wearing glasses, imagine that.
From Louis: Sweet dreams x
I was in need of a lot of Coffee when I woke up the next morning.
