Chapter 17
Two months later:
Maven and Mare have been dating for two months now, and going strong. Cal had accepted her into their family even though they aren't married yet, but every high house thinks there won't be a second queenstrial because they'll get married like the kings first wife and himself did.
Maven has been going to Mare's house a lot, he already had meet Norah Mares mom. But this time as his girlfriends mother, she was strict to him at first. But then they warmed up together like a little family.
Maven mostly came over once a week for family dinners at Mare's, and even some times he would bring over his brother cal, or Evangeline for dinner as well. Some times at dinner one of the Titanos women would pull out a board game, or they'd watch a show together.
Mare loved that her mother loved her boyfriend and not just because he was one of the crown princes. She loved seeing him every week, some times when they'd watch a show, or play a game see could see them living together like that in the future.
Maven loved going to Mare's house, her mother Norah was the nicest to him, sometime even nicer than his own mother was to him. When they watched shows together they'd sit on the live seat curled up under a blanket, and he could see them living every night like that.
He couldn't ask for anything much more that would make him happy....well maybe if he and Mare had some little ones running around he'd he bursting with happiness.
