Chapter 8
Today the wedding, and the young prince didn't want his sweet lady to go. But thankfully they would get to spend the day with her because he has asked her to be his date for his brothers wedding and he said yes.
When he walked towards her door, she was already outside her room waiting for him. She was dressed for course in her house colours purple, and sliver with a hint of gold. And they marched each other perfectly with his which was black, red, and sliver.
"What took you so long Mav?" She said smiling at him.
"Well I had to try hard not to outshine you with your looks, you always look beautiful even when your not trying" he had moving towards her kissing her on the cheek.
"Aww that's sweet Mav, and I'm glad you noticed" she said giving him a full twirl of her dress.
"Ready to go down?" He asked her
"Of course!" She said smiling and taking his arm.
Off the two of them went down to the ballroom for the big wedding ceremony, for a day of sitting, talking, and dancing. Once they got down their sadly Mare had to sit with the rest of the high houses, and wasn't allowed to sit with the royal family because "she wasn't a member" But before Maven took his seat with his family in the front row, he did whisper in her ear, "Mare I'll make it up to you by dancing with you for the whole night until our feet fall off, and one day no one can tell you that you aren't part of the royal family" with that maven gave her a kiss on the cheek and headed to his seat.
Mare walked over to her family's high house row, which right now only had her and her mother.
"Reena! What's with the blush on your face?" Her mother asked.
"Just something Maven said to me mom!" Mare said giggling, well the blush grew deeper.
"Oh yeah...I have a feeling what he said your dad used to say things like that to charm me too." She said thinking back to her late husband.
"Awwe really!"
"She your father thought he was always quite the charmer, but he only thought that because he could always spread a blush in my cheeks." Her mother said laughing, with some quiet giggles from Mare.
