Chapter 10 part 1
Sadly the morning time had come for the young prince. The royal family was saying its goodbyes to the high houses as each one was leaving. Half the houses had already left for the day returning to their normal schedules.
Most of the high houses looked happy to be leaving the castle but there was one high house they wasn't house Titanos. Maven had only kept his eyes on house Titanos ignoring the other high houses as they said their goodbyes.
Soon it was time for the royal family to say goodbye to the Titanos family. When they approached the royal family they were wearing their house colours like the rest of the houses but Mareena's dress seemed to shine out to him more. Even though it seemed plain she looked beautiful in her travel dress. Mind to say anything she did would stand out to him, after all his eyes barely ever left hers. It's like now he had a connection to her that anywhere they were he could tell when she was near him.
"Thank you for having us your majesty's"said mare's mother Nora Titanos.
"Of course will have you anytime Nora" the queen said
The young prince didn't want lady Titanos to leave so he went over to her. And said "lady Titanos can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked
"Of course my prince" she said smiling at him.
So he lead her over to a quitter area where the two of them could talk without others hearing them.
"Mareen," he said
And he could see the sadness in her eyes when he used her whole name.
"Yes, my prince?" She said back to him
"Well I was wondering if I could see you after, this?" He said
"Of course my prince you'll see me with the rest of the high houses very soon" she said fake smiling at him.
"But Mare, I just want to see you I don't care about seeing the rest of the high houses" he said begging her to stop using his title. Her wanted to be like she used to be before his brothers wedding.
"Of course prince maven what do you want to see me about?" She asked curiously
"Mare come on it's me Mav" he said taking her hand and rubbing it, like that would make her somehow change how she was talking to him.
"Yes, you are prince maven" she said fake smiling at him.
"I'll be back to the castle in a few months time, then you can see me prince maven she said" and walked off leaving the castle, and him behind with his thoughts of confusion.
