Chapter 29

It's been a year since cal has been in his coma, and the healers don't think anything different will happen. The Lakelanders are officially allied with Norta. and since Mareena and maven lost their baby they named him Theron maestro Calore. It helped both of them with their loss knowing their child had both of his grandfathers, and one of his grandmothers up heaven with him.

Right now Maven, Mareena, Norah, tib, and Evangeline were taking their dinner in the dinning hall. Since the attack in that room guards had increased, as well as security in the Castle getting tighter. Each member of the royal family kept some sort of weapon on them now. "Excuse me your majesty but the healers want me to take you to them it's about Prince Tiberias."

All of them stopped eating, maven even dropped is fork on his plate. "You two stay here I'll go see what the mater" Maven said so off her went with the servant boy.
"What do you think they want?" Evangeline asked.
"I'm not sure but to take maven away from dinner, most he important" said Norah said.
"Do you think Cal woke up?" Evangeline asked.
"I'm not sure. But hopefully for maven's sake I know he misses his brother, and you probably miss him too Ev." Mareena says reaching a hand out to Evangeline.
"I miss him more as a friend then a husband" Evangeline said.

In the hospital wing:
"Are you sure one hundred per cent about what your telling me Doc?" Maven asked.
"Of course I am my king, it's true that Prince Tiberias is finally awake." Said the doctor. "And you can see him now, my king. Follow me here's right through here, and he should be awake."

As maven, and the doctor came to the door, the doctor opened the maven. "Hey bro long time no see" maven said as he reached Cal's bed.
"Wow mavy, I heard you've had to grow up a bit well I was taking my nap. But I'd never think I'd see the day where you have a beard just like dad does." Cal said laughing.
Maven looked at him Sorrowly "Cal there's something I have to tell you, a few things have changed since that night." He sat down on cal's bed. Cal looked at shocked about what  maven was going to say but let him continue talking.
"First off it's been a year since the shooting" Maven said
"What?" Cal said.
"I know cal but let me finish, first off my mom didn't make the night and she died."
Maven eyes filled with sadness.
"Mavy I'm so sorry" Cal said.
"It's ok but cal that's not the worst part, dad didn't make it either, and Mareena she.... she lost......" maven had breaking down and crying
"Mavy it's ok you don't have to continue speaking about that night we can continue on. After all I'm only worried about the future not the past." Cal said laughing trying to help his brother feeling better.
"How about we go and eat, I'm kind of hungry" Cal said while taking maven down stairs.

When they got out of the hospital wing, Cal started looking around at the castle looking around at the changes.
"I know I had a few changes made around the place since that night." Maven said smirking at Cal.
"So any other changes since I've been asleep" Cal asked.
"Well since Dad passed, and you were alseep I was made king. Never thought you'd see that eh Cal" maven said smirking at Cal.
"Wow to think my little brother had been made king" Cal said Well messing up his hair.
"Don't worry this is one of the reasons I'm so happy your awake so you can be king like normal." Maven said as he opened the door to the dinning room.
"Wow you can barely notice a difference in here" Cal says laughing.
"Cal, is that really you?" Evangeline asked standing up from her chair, and walked over towards the door.
"Wow Evangeline you look almost happy to see me" Cal says smiling as he hugs Evangeline.
"Wow can't believe your finally awake sleeping beauty" Evangeline said laughing.
"Wow didn't think you could laugh Evangeline!" Cal says smirking at her.
"Well when an old friend comes back from the dead, people should laugh, and be happy" Evangeline said smirking at the brothers.
"So this is really it" cal says looking around. "Can't believe that night really happened."
"Me either" Maven said.
"Cal? Is it really you?" Mareena asked from behind the two brothers.
Cal went over and hugged Mareena tightly. "I thought we lost you Reena" cal said righting his grip on her.
"Wow where would you get the idea I was dead?" Mareena asked Cal as he finally let go of her so she could get some air into her lungs. "Well maven said you lost. And he couldn't carry on so I thought that meant you lost your life" Cal said sorrowfully.
"No" Mareena said we walked closer to Maven and took his arm into hers like she was taking the bad memories away from him. "No we lost our son Theron, it was hard at first but we helped each other out." Mareena smiled at Cal. "But it helps that we aren't not letting anything happen to our baby." Mareena said placing a hand on her stomach.
"Wait I'm going to be an uncle, again" Cal said.
"Yeah can you believe it!" Maven said smiling.
"And I'm the godmother" Evangeline smirked.
"Wow guys your all making big plans without me" Cal said laughing. Which made the others laugh as well. "Speaking of sons where's mine?"
"Don't worry tib went with Norah and a few guards to the bathroom...he definitely your son missing out on the bug chance to see his father." Evangeline said laughing.
Cal laughed too as the dinning room doors opened, and in walker Norah, and tib, with a few guards trialing behind them.
"Cal is that really you...or are my eyes playing tricks on me?" Norah asked as she walked closer towards the small group.
"Yeah can you believe it Norah I finally woke up!"
Cal brought Norah into a hug well tib hung back not knowing too much who this strange man was.
When cal let go of Norah he looked down to see his son.
"Wow you've grown little man....I can't believe how much you've grown!" He said going in for a hug, but tib ran towards Evangeline.
"Tib!!" Evangeline said "that's your father, he's woken up." She said
"Really! Daddy" tib said running straight into his fathers arms.
"Hey son!!" Cal said hugging his son not wanting to let go. So he picked tib up instead.
"Ev why doesn't our son know who I am?"
"Well cal...he didn't want to go up to see you so I don't force it I knew you were going to wake up so I didn't see a problem." Evangeline said smiling at him.
"If you say so ev!" Cal said smirking at her.

As the dinner continued a happiness filled the room knowing that the family was whole again.
