Chapter 13

Mullys POV
We were shopping for hours , today was a shop til you drop kind of day and I could tell Josh enjoyed it. In the end we left with his new shoes , an adorable oversized hoodie and some new jeans. All for Josh. I only got a few things for me which were just a T-shirt and a beanie. Josh insisted on buying me something but I didn't want today to be about me , I wanted it to be about him.

After a half hour of clothes shopping we stopped by bath and body works. Josh pulled me into the store , I've always hated it because there were so many different smells going on at once. I toughed through it for Josh though. He bought some lotions and a couple bath bombs. "Can we take a bath tonight? Please. I love using bath bombs." He pleaded and of course I couldn't say no. "Sure bubs." I said and he got excited. "Do you want to hit up the food court before leaving?" I asked and he nodded. I was carrying all of the bags so Josh didn't have to , we walked to the food court and Josh insisted on carrying some "Mull I know you want me to enjoy myself but I can't , not if I know that you're carrying everything by yourself." He said and I let him carry a few bags. We both wanted Chick-fil-A so we ordered and sat down as we waited. "Are you having fun my love?" I asked as Josh pulled out his phone. "Yep , I love being at the mall. Thank you so much Mull." He said giving me a kiss and then sitting on my lap. After a few minutes our food was ready and I went to go get it , as I walked back to our table I noticed a lot of commotion going on. I got worried when I didn't see Josh. I looked around and saw that there was a woman screaming and hitting him. I ran through the huge crowd and slapped the shit out of her. "What the hell mate!!! Why are you fucking hitting him?!?" I yelled while holding a crying Josh in my arms. "Hey hey shhh bubs , I'm right here. You're ok now , you're safe." I said calmly while rubbing his back.

It turns out the woman was trying to compliment his outfit but he didn't have his hearing aid in so he didn't know. She tapped him on the shoulder and he started pointing to his ears signaling that he was deaf but this bitch wouldn't leave him alone. It really pissed me off that people can't take hints. I calmed Josh down and made sure he knew it wasn't his fault . "That calming bath sounds great right now." Josh said and I chuckled. "How about we get you home. Then we can have a nice bath." I said and he hugged me. "That sounds amazing. Thank you so much Mull." He was tired and I was too so we drove on home.
