Final year - grave mistakes, a good hex and a god damned punch in the face

In the final year at Hogwarts, Sirius was eighteen, Lily James and Remus were 17 and Regulus was 16 and in his 5th year.
There wasn't too many big things that happened, James and Lily got together somehow (not even Lily's sure), Sirius helped upgrade the map, Lily stopped talking to snape as much, Sirius gained an obsession with stuffed muggle toys (especially the dog) and Reg seemed upset and distant recently too.
They were currently sitting around in the common room, Remus was reading, Sirius was drawing, James was playing with a snitch - again - Lily was just laying around bored.
"If you had a child," she started "what would you name it?"
"Elvendork." said James without hesitation
"Elvendork?" asked Lily
"Elvendork."
"Why Elvendork?"
"Why not Elvendork?"
"I'd call it Teddy." said Sirius thoughtfully
"Why Teddy?" asked Remus, Sirius pointed at one of the many wolf toys he now had
"A muggle toy?" asked James, Sirius nodded
"That's actually not a bad name." said Lily "Unlike Elvendork."
Before James could say anything there was a knock at the portrait hole. They all looked at it. Not many people knocked there. Sirius slowly got up and went to the door,
"Oh hi Reg," he said "what's up?"
"Not much." Sirius knew it probably wasn't not much
"Want to go somewhere? To talk?" he asked
"Uh I forgot why I came." Reg lied "I'll come back if I remember." he walked off
"Well that was weird." said James "Where you going mate?" Sirius went up to their dorm and came back down with the invisibility cloak
"Can I?" he asked, holding it up
"Uh sure," replied James "what're yo- and he's gone."
Sirius - of course - had gone to follow Regulus (safety reasons). He followed him - he wasn't too suspicious - all the way to an empty classroom where snape sat waiting.
"Did you get it?" snape jumped up and reached for Regulus' left arm but Regulus pulled away.
"Yes," replied Reg "not sure how I feel about it."
"Well it's good you got it," replied snape "aren't you glad I convinced you? You've shown your loyalty to the Dark Lo-"
"Shhh." hissed Regulus, looking around, right through a shocked Sirius "People might hear you!"
Sirius left before his instinctive growling kicked in. This wasn't Reg, it wasn't him. snape convinced him? Did he try and say no?

The next day, James, Remus and Sirius were walking through the corridoors when they saw Lily yelling at a Ravenclaw. They went over because if Lily was yelling at someone she had a good reason.
"What happened here?" asked Remus
"This little insect has been talking behind your backs," said Lily "probably too cowardly to say it to your faces."
Lily then hexed him so that his head turned into a tentacle,
"Good hex." marvled James "You need to teach me that one."
"Dumb little Potter," sneered snape "I already know." he shot a jet of light at James, which he blocked. Remus aimed his wand at snape but a little too late. Sirius had gone right up to him and given him a god damned punch in the face - which broke his abnormally large nose - and soon enough there was a full blown fight in the corridoor. It only stopped when McGonagall stepped in and took 50 points from each participant (funny how this was their last year compared to their childrens last year). "I am astonished to see such behaviour from any of you!" McGonagall shouted at them "Especially the head girl and boy! What were you thinking! Your rivalry has gone too far!" Sirius didn't care, all he wanted was to hurt snape and he did.
