My phone rang loudly as I was awakened from my deep sleep. I groaned and answered it.

"What?" I grumbled.

"Get up." Luis's voice echoed in my ear.

"Why?"

"Because we're going somewhere."

I held my head in my hands. "Where?"

"You'll see. Just pack things for, like, a weekend and meet me outside." He explained.

I huffed. "Fine, but it better not be somewhere sketchy."

He chuckled. "It's not. Now, get up."

"Okay, okay, okay, I am." I sighed while standing up.

He hung up and I groaned angrily. I hate it when he disrupts me when I'm trying to sleep. I got myself ready and packed a few things. I had no idea where we were going, but I was a little bit suspicious.

"What are you doing?" Lily walked into my room.

"Packing."

"Why?"

I shrugged. "Luis is taking me somewhere."

Her eyebrow raised in suspicion. "Where?"

"I have no idea."

"That's a bit odd, Amelia." She sighed.

I rolled my eyes. "It's fine. He's not gonna kill me or something."

"He could." She mumbled.

I scoffed. "Whatever. I'll be back soon."

"Or not." She sassed.

I rolled my eyes again. "Oh, my God...okay, bye."

She huffed and I walked out the door. Luis was leaning on his car, fidgeting with his phone.

"I'm here." I sighed. "Now, where are we going?"

He looked at me and shrugged. "You'll see."

He grabbed my stuff for me and stuffed it in his car. I hopped into the passenger's side and Luis hopped in after me.

"If you're taking me to a party or something, I'm leaving." I chuckled.

He laughed while shaking his head. "No, I'm not. You'll like it, I promise."

I shrugged. "Okay..."

He started driving and the breeze lightly blew my hair around. I felt like I was in some sort of music video. I could feel Luis's eyes keep darting over to me. I just ignored it though.

After what felt like hours, we finally arrived at this old-looking cabin. It was pretty big and looked quite fancy.

"What's this?" I asked while sitting up from my slouching position.

"My family's cabin. We never really use it anymore though." He shrugged.

"Oh, cool." I nodded.

I grabbed my stuff and started walking towards the entrance. He unlocked it and cracked it open. Immediately, the smell of wood and freshwater filled my nose. We stepped inside the bright filled room and I admired it. I never had anything like this growing up, so this was pretty cool.
