Taking his hand, I pulled myself up. He had a pleasant little smile on his face. Tilting my head at the sight of him walking away from me to the far side of the office. A grin took the place of my confused expression when I noticed that Asher was actually getting my trench coat. He made his way back and placed the jacket over my shoulder.

I shiver at the feeling of the cool breeze coming from the window. Now it was his turn to sigh. Paddling over, he closed the opened window and walked back to me. Standing up, I held onto him to gain my balance and chuckled when I finally caught my footing. I glance up at him, suddenly making eye contact. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable as we stared into each other's eyes. I raised my arm and he leaned in with his eyes closed.

Smacking his head, he yelped in pain. His hand flew up, rubbing his head to smother the ache. I chuckled at his reaction, limping over to my desk. I grabbed my phone, keys, and my wallet while tidying up my dress shirt, tie, and suit again. I smiled and glanced out the window. Everything seemed so calm. Turning back, I made my way over to the door and looked over at Asher, who was still rubbing his head.

"Are you done being a crybaby yet? I got to head home. I haven't eaten and you won't like me if I'm hangry. So, move along now, golden retriever."

"Yea. Yea. But you didn't have to hit me."

"Sure. Come on out, I have to lock the door. I don't want to delay my stomach." Pushing him out the room, I locked it the door behind me with ease. "You're not heading home, Asher? You can leave without me, I still have to drop off some reports for tomorrow."

"You sure? I don't want you to faint again. Did you know, when I saw you sprawled out on the couch. It really scared the shit out of me, almost experienced a heart attack. So, control that fainting of yours before you get yourself into trouble."

He patted my head as he continued to babble off about 'scaring the shit' out of him. I stood there and stared at the clock, giving him for a few more minutes to finish up. When the smaller hand had reached nine, I swatted his hand away. Pulling off the hair tie, I redid my hair.

"Yea. You don't have to treat me like a baby. You're just taller than me. Don't forget I'm actually older than you. So go ahead. Also, you should remember to respect your elders, Ashy sweetly."

He flinched and jumped back, "I guess you really are hangry. You're even going mental."

He ran off towards the elevator. We bid our farewells and he slowly disappeared, bending with the distance. Sighing, I strolled down the hallway and turned around the corner, which led me to the rooftop. Walking up a set of stairs, I pushed open the bland beige door to see a shadow of a man.

Oh great. Just when I wanted some peace and quiet.

Squinting my eyes, I tried to figure out who the male was. My eyes widened, glued on the male perched on the ledge, who had his back facing me. I chuckled in disbelief, which caught the male's attention. His eyes also seemed to widen when he spotted me.
