(Chapter is not written in [Y/N]'s POV. Until I say so. Otherwise it's written in Stephine's POV. If you don't know who she is. She's the president of the European hero commission :D)
Smacking my hand down on the table. I released a sigh of frustration, accidentally hitting myself on the forehead. I frowned, wincing as I rubbed my forehead in pain. Sitting back down on my chair, from the corner of my eye, an empty bottle of water sat there. Like it was making fun of me.
I frown, picking it up and throwing it at the television. Which was playing the news, conveniently the girl in question. It was about some snoozy news of the interaction between [Y/N] and some kid. It was not really entertaining, especially with this killer headache I was having.
Grabbing the remote for the television, I shut it off, the screen went black with a click of a button. I rack my brains for any ideas that could come to mind to help us on the project this week, but the headache wasn't helping.
The conversation between [Y/N] and I had been on loop all day and I wanted to forget it, how could I? Who knows that a girl we had trained for years could talk back to us like that. We even provided her home to live in, without us she would've never became a hero, like the one she is right now.
How disrespectful is that?
I spun around in my chair with my mind going completely blank, except for the reoccurring argument. It wouldn't leave my head, no matter how hard I tried. I dragged my feet on the floor as I sighed, stopping me from spinning too much before I could puke. I pushed myself into my desk and picked up the pen. Since I decided to actually do something useful and I needed something to distract me for a while.
But [Y/N] kept popping up in my head, making me more frustrated than ever. Never have I ever felt so pathetic. Especially for a girl younger than me to talk back to me like that and threaten the life out of me.
Groaning, I dropped the pen that I was holding in my hands and felt myself turn red from frustration. Gently rubbing my temples, trying to keep myself calm. Today wasn't really my day.
"Who does she think she is. We basically raised her." I furrowed my brows, "What she did was unacceptable. She shouldn't be a hero at all!" I sneered as my eyes landed on a picture of the said girl, who looked happy (No, it's the complete opposite). Holding up her medal, "Look at how happy she looked."
Just then, my door open with a thump. My heart almost jumped out of my chest, scaring the shit out of me. I frowned as I gritted my teeth, like this day couldn't get worst. I glanced over at the male who was wearing a black suit, who had a phone in his hands. He was staring back at me through his sunglasses, his face held no emotions whatsoever as he held eye contact with me. Which made me upset since he didn't tremble under my gaze.
"Could you knock first?!" I sneered, "You almost gave me a heart attack."
He shrugged but bowed his head anyways, "Sorry. I'll do that next time. Ma'am." He pulsed, "But you have someone waiting to talk to you. It's urgent."
