         Ah

Ah. Was it the feeling of numbness washing over me? Is that why I was unfazed as I fell? Was it because I give up on life? Why wouldn't my body reach its hand out and hope that somebody would grab it and pull me up? Was I tired of living? Or was it because I was in the arms of someone as I fell?

The feeling of being in someone's arms calmed me down. Yet, no scream would erupt from my throat. Just a tired expression pasted on my face. Looking at Asher's pained expression as he tried to reach out his hands to me. I chuckled at him. Wishing I could have the same mortified expression on my face right now. Wishing that I could feel something. Anything at all. Even if it's happiness.

The wind passed through my hair. Closing my eyes as I got tried to see myself fall down from floor to floor. I didn't have the energy to scream. Or I just didn't want to. I smiled, yawning at how boring this was. I mean I was stepping into the depths of hell at this point. I just wanted to take a quick nap like how-

"[Y/N]!"

The voice knocked me out of my unconsciousness. I perked up, adrenaline pumping through my veins. Glancing around. My eyes landed on Shota. Who was running towards my direction in a hurry? I sighed, smiling at him as he came near.

At least his feet are still on the ground.

I examined his appearance. How he was sweaty and how his clothes cling to his body. How sweat trickled down his forehead as he ran. How his unruly black hair was a mess, barely looking like it was tied up into a man bun. And lastly how a concerned look had graced his features as he shouted after me. Telling me how he was going to save me.

But his words came out mushy and blurry. I couldn't recognize them. My eyes were clouded, unable to see his lips, unable to see what he had mouthed out to me. My attention fell back to the arms around my waist as I fell. Yes, I knew who it was. Yet, I felt safe and reassured as I fell to my death.

"[Y/N]! Stay awake! Look at me!"

There it was again. His voice has woken me up. Everything became clearer as the sound of his voice made its way into my ears. I blinked, tilting my head, and glanced at him in confusion. I could hear my heart pounding. He seemed like he saw that his voice had woken me up from my daze.

My eyes widened. Watching him jump off the roof after me. Reaching his out in pure desperation, hoping that he'll get to hold me in his arms once more. Without noticing, my hands went up by themselves like they had a mind of their own. Also trying to grab onto the male. A smile settles itself on his face. Pushing himself to fall faster.

It felt like everything was set in slow motion. As I continued to fall. With a smile, the tips of our fingers touch. Stretching out. He warped his hands around mine. Pulling me up, I gasped as he pulled me in. Into a hug. Keeping me in his arms, I warped my arms around him. Keeping him in my reach the whole time as I hang onto him like he was going to disappear into thin air within seconds.

He grunted as he swung around, making momentum. Seconds later, he came close enough to a window. Tighten his grip on me, which may I say I really liked. He shattered the window with his elbow, breaking another window today. He grunted, warping his arms around me tightly as we crashed into what seemed like a meeting room. Rolling onto the carpeted floor. He grunted as shards of glass went everywhere. With a thump, we crashed into the wall.

I was mainly focused on his quickening heartbeat. I dug my head into his chest, allowing his warmth to encase me. He glanced down at me wary of his position as he was on top of me with his arm on either side of my head. Trapping me in. I shot him a close-eye smile as I wiped away the grime and sweat dripping from his forehead.

We stared at each other for what seemed like hours until I had gathered up enough courage and leaned up to kiss him. Molding our lips together. He grunted in surprise. I slid my arms down his chest, grabbing a handful of his hair as we continued to make out. Pulling apart, we panted, both of us completely out of breath.

He sighed, laying his head just over my shoulders. Allowing me to hug him for my comfort. Recalling the moments that had happened before. How Merikh had jumped off the roof with me in his arms.

I perked up, abruptly scattering out of Shota's grip. Confusing the black-haired male greatly. I winced as I almost tripped over something. Stalling myself, I limped over to the broken window. Or what was left of the window. Sticking my head out, I glanced down to see if there's any sign of Merikh being alive.

I released a sigh of relief when I saw him floating down slowly. A red feather attached to the hem of his shirt as he went. Moments later, Shota had joined me, glancing out of the window to see how the situation was going. Well, he tried to mask his gaze on me with that excuse.

"Stop staring at me and treat your wounds."

"Why would I if you're here in front of me." He held no expression on his face as he said that. Lying his head onto mines, he intertwined our fingers. "It's nice to see you here by my side."

"You're clingy today."

He frowned, "You gave me a heart attack." He paused, "I almost lost you."

I shrugged, "I guess that makes sense."

"He still into you."

"I know." I answered simply, "But he's nothing compared to you."

Turning around to him, I give him a kiss on his cheeks. He sighed, ruffling up my hair like a madman. Looking down at the blond male who had just tried to commit third-degree murder and suicide moments ago. I smiled as I glanced down at the devastating scene beneath me. Tugging Shota's arms, I smiled as I poked his cheeks. Slightly provoking the black-haired male.

"You know, I thought that I'll never have the power to love someone again." I passed him a close eye smile, "Yet you proved me wrong. I love you Shota. And I want to say it from the bottom of my heart." I gave him a quick peck on his lips. Stunning him, "Now should we go help with the clean-up?" I glanced at him, "And clean you up too."

"Sure. Let's go ahead."

I smiled as I dragged him by the wrist, towards the stairwell. As always, a wave of comfortable silence came over us, like always. At the end of the day, I had learned one thing.

Love is a one-of-a-chance opportunity. And I'm lucky to have him by my side.

[A/N]:

I was about to write about a whole plot twist where [Y/N] says that she's still in love with Merikh. And begs Aizawa to jump off to save him.

But of course, I was too lazy. And I don't have any more brain cells. I might rewrite it like that if I feel motivated. But yeah, for now, it's going to be like this.

Anyways. I think I'm going to write like two more chapters or so. Mainly focusing on the relationship between them (Expect some fluff and maybe a smut chapter), to wind the story down. And ending the story with an epilogue.

The next few chapters might make your heart swell up in happiness. So stay tuned! As always stay safe, stay hydrated, and eat at least 3 meals per day!
