Perching onto a building, I watched the people of the city beneath me

Perching onto a building, I watched the people of the city beneath me. They all seem calm. No crime was lurking out of the shadows for now. Sighing, I ripped off the mask, revealing my sweaty face to the breeze. Taking a deep breath, I stretch out my body. Making the stiffness dissolve away in a matter of seconds.

Many civilians were on a peaceful stroll around the city, unaware of my presence. I wanted to keep it that way. Who would know when the next fan attack would come. I groaned, thinking back to the accident that happened today. If I recalled. I had to carry three grown-ass men to the hospital because they couldn't keep their hands to themselves. It was a pain to fill out the paperwork like it always was.

Placing a hand on the ledge I was standing on, I stretched out my sore limbs. I had been just perching here, watching the scenery for around two hours now. And nothing seemed to entertain me, no movement from any villains organization, nothing. Now sitting on the building, I swing my legs back and forth. I also have to get to the bar in an hour. Glancing at my watch in complete boredom, I grinned as I noticed that my shift was going to end soon.

Sighing, I leaned back, my hair went in all sorts of directions as I enjoyed the spring winds. My body was now halfway off the building. My legs were the only one that was sabotaging a fall to my death. I smiled, enjoying the view upside down. I saw some pointing and people whispering to each other. It wasn't unusual. Happens around me pretty much every day. I had nothing to cry about.

"What are you doing here, attention seeker? What? You want to jump off the roof now. You know I won't risk my life just to save your ass. You're probably too heavy for me. My muscles just can't lift you."

"Or your just a scrawny prick."

I groaned as a new guest decided to join me on this dull quest. He smirked at my annoyed expression as he flew over me, landing on the roof of the building. Pulling me by my legs, he got me off the ledge. So he'll be assured that I won't be falling to my death, not today. Groaning, I pushed myself up to look at his annoying ass. But immediately plopping down again as my eyes fell onto his ugly face.

"Get out of my view. I was enjoying the sunset, you brunt nugget."

"Or commuting suicide. Get grounded, will you?"

"You really think I'll jump off a building?" I deadpanned, giving him a 'you should know better look'.

"You do something unexpected every time. I have trust issues because of you. And that's why you have to pay for my therapy sessions. I can't live without them."

I waved him off. He smiled, walking up to me, and joined me on the floor beside me. I frowned and pushed his face away with the palms of my hand as I let out fake gagging noises. I could already see the amused expression he was giving me. He definitely had cured my boredom. I'm ready to throw him off the roof now. Sadly, he has a pair of wings, so that won't do.
