I frowned as I registered his sentence. Trying to fit the whole thing in my brain. Somehow that didn't make sense. I glanced at the woman in front of me. She was fuming and looked like she was ready to chop somebody's head off. I just hope it wasn't mined. The guards cowered, crouching down as he felt the mincing glare that was directed to him.
"If it's confidential, then why would you blurt it out loud?!" She grabbed her hair, looking like she was ready to pull them all out, "Don't you know what a secret is?"
Sheeesh. Someone has anger issues.
He ducked behind the leather couch. I found it funny how a huger and stronger person could be overpowered by this woman. Know thinking about it, she might be a witch. I watched as she kept shouting profanities. Yelling on the top of her lungs. She let out a deep breath, heaving a sigh as she sat herself down. Intertwining them together on the table.
"At least bring us a cup of tea." She requested.
We sat there and waited as one of the men made the tea. He nervously walked up to us. Legs trembling in fear and looked like he was going to trip over nothing any moment now. Afraid that he was going to end up like his worker. Who was still hiding behind the couch? And I was right. He tripped, the tea splashed onto Stephine's shirt. Making her hotheaded attitude even worse. If that was even possible.
"WHAT THE HELL!"
As she was yelling. I felt like I was zoning out a bit. Her words sounded all mushy and nothing made sense. The only thing on my mind was the word 'car accident'. It was repetitive. I couldn't get it out of my head. Like it was haunting me, a ghost of my past. Before I knew it, I fell into a flashback.
Drowning. Opened my eyes to see that I was lost at sea. Drowning in the waters. Yet, everything was bright. Reaching my hand out, I only feel the water around me. As I kept falling deeper and deeper. Down to the very bottom of the ocean. I gasped as my back hit the ground. Knocking me out until all I could see was black.
I looked around. Skimming the surroundings around me. It seems like I was just in the middle of a busy street. Everything felt calm as people chatted. Laughing happily as their friends made friendly jokes. I furrowed my brows, wondering why I'll have a flashback here.
I mean it was about three months ago when I experienced my latest flashback. I just didn't get why I had never remembered this. Like it wasn't part of my mind. Like it was a lost memory.
I grit my teeth, glancing around to see if I could find the two boys. The one with the black hair and the energetic blond. They always seem to be in one of my flashbacks. Like it involved, yet I don't know who they were. And why they're here. I furrowed my brows, surprised to see that the two boys were not in sight. It was strangely unusual like I had like their company during these times. But at least I could enjoy the peaceful environment.
