I grinned, "You ready, Asher?"
The younger male smiled at me as I adjusted the gadget around his arm. It looked like it was going to fall off any minute now. I sighed, finally done with his straps. Turning around, I spotted Aizawa walking over to me.
"You ready, Aizawa?"
He grunted, "Let's see if all my lessons paid off. Might have to count it as half of their grade." He stood next to me, "It all depends on how they do."
"This is just a game of tag." Asher cocked a brow as Aizawa directed his gaze onto the man.
"Freeze tag."
He corrected like it was the most obvious thing ever. It was hard keeping my laughter in when I saw Asher's offended expression. He clicked his tongue and looked away. I glanced up at the clock on top of the game. It was about to count down from three. That's when the training, or the game, starts.
I watched as the numbers changed, hearing beeps as each number went by. The screen went green. That was the time I knew I could go and chase orphans down. In the lead with Aizawa and Asher behind me, I jumped onto a cargo box. Scanning the ground for any students. Surprisingly I didn't see any Kaminari's wandering around. Or any Bakugo's trying to challenge Midoriya's to a fight.
A bang echoed throughout the game as Asher landed right next to me. Aizawa was nowhere to be seen. I shrugged it off as I perched on the metal shipping container. In the corner of my eyes, I say a blob of black hair. It seems like Asher had spotted it too.
"This one's mines."
I jumped off the crate and smiled as I dashed toward the person. They duck into a tiny passageway, I smirked. Crinkling the blot, it shot out a black string. Attaching itself onto the figure. I smiled as I tugged it, pulling Sero backward. Tapping him on his shoulders, he sighed in frustration.
"Aw. You got me, tech."
"Yep, I did. Do you have any idea where your other friends went?"
"I'm no snitch. Maybe you could find them yourself."
He pressed his lips together, sliding his fingers down his lips as he shook his head as a no. I chuckled at his behavior, glancing at the ticking clock on his shoulder. It was under 15 seconds. Adjusting my gear on my wrist, I turned it back, fixing the leaking at the end.
I waited as the black substance drip into the ground until it stopped.
"Looks like you got ten more seconds left to go, Sero. Sadly, I don't think your classmates are going to save you now."
He smirked as he cocked a brow at me. I was confused until I turned around. Inaudible mumbles of words came out of my mouth as I spotted a handful of students charging towards me. Internally cursing at myself for not paying attention, I got into my fight stance.
