After appearing in some sort of space vacuum and waking up on a stranger's space ship, Cassie was fricking pissed off with her new alien friend. She woke upright in an medipod and heard voices from the other side of the ship, Yaz was still sleeping away in her own medipod.

"None of the equipment on this thing make any sense!" The Doctor complained as she looked around. Cassie hesitantly approached them, head hammering away. Epzo's thoughts were practically screaming at her with ideas of chucking the blonde alien back into the vacuum. She couldn't help but smirk at his thoughts for a brief moment.

"Stop insulting my ship. This is one of the best crafts around," Epzo snarled angrily.

"I'd hate to see the others!" The Doctor retorted. Despite being pissed off at the Time-Lady Cassie couldn't help but giggle, causing the blonde to notice her.

"Cass, you need to stay locked in the medipod," The Doctor said. She gave Epzo a glare. "This rust bucket is too unstable"

Cassie smiled tensely at the blonde. "I'm fine"

"No, you..."

"I don't need your help," Epzo snapped, huffing.

"Yes, you do! Your power's failing across three sections, the ship's on the verge of total shut down, " The Doctor argued, gesturing to the ship.

"How can a planet be in the wrong place? It should've been back there where I scooped you up. We should be in its gravity belt by now, " Epzo said, confused.

"Well, we're not," Cassie commented with a snort.

Epzo gave her a glare. "I can see that"

That was when Yaz crept on through, looking worried. She smiled at Cassie. "Hi. I can smell burning"

"You were right, she is still alive," Epzo complained to the Doctor, looking disappointed.

"Yaz, you and Cassie need to stay locked in the medipod," The Doctor said to the pair.

"We're fine!" Cassie disagreed, briefly reading Yaz's thoughts to make sure. She was fine, if not a bit sore and annoyed with the whole situation. And maybe a bit pissed off at Cassie to.

"Where's Ryan and Graham?" Yaz asked.

The Doctor ignored her question as she really didn't know how to answer it and instead pointed to a planet. "There! The planet's there"

Cassie glared at her, wishing that she could read the blonde's mind without her head burning in agony. She bit her lip so she didn't say anything rude to the blonde.

"I don't know where they are Yaz," Cassie admitted quietly.

"Do you think they're..." Yaz froze, looking nauseated.

"I don't know, " Cassie replied hesitantly. Yaz's thoughts were shouting at her, making the pit of dread in her own stomach tighten into knots. They weren't dead. She would know, right?

"How can it be there?" Epzo questioned, confused.

"Does it even have a name?" Cassie wondered with a sigh.

"Only a symbol. Or a warning. Closest word is... Desolation. Right. I can do this. I am not going to be beaten, " Epzo said determindly. He glared at the blonde alien that was in his way. "Move! I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve"

"Manual shield activation? Wow, this thing should be on Antiques Roadshow, " The Doctor huffed. Cassie grinned for a brief second before tensing up with annoyance.

"Stop insulting the driver," Cassie snapped. "Its not like you're any better"

The Doctor stepped closer to her, eyebrows raised. She was about to argue. "Oi, I'll have you know..."
